Speaking with Page Six at Variety's Power of Women luncheon this week, Chilli opened up about her relationship with Lawrence, particularly on their bond so far since she confirmed their romance in January.

The duo had been friends for years before reports emerged last summer that they were an item. The TLC singer tells everyone who cares to listen that their romance is "real and there is nothing fake about it."

She said, "I'm here with him because I wanna be, and he wants to be. We're just so happy, we are."

Chili also stated that she had no idea they would connect so deeply and that his presence in her life altered everything.

The Duo Are Open To Having Kids In The Future

While their love is at a sweet high, the possibility of marriage is still unknown, although Chilli did not rule it out during the interview. If she does get married, the singer is open to expanding her family, despite already sharing a kid, Tron Austin, with her ex, Dallas Austin.

"I would never say that [I'm done with families]," Chilli said while speaking during her appearance on the "Ryan Cameron Uncensored" radio show, per Page Six.

Chilli's boyfriend also told E! News that he would like to see the mother-of-one become a mother-of-two, but that would be much later.

"She's an amazing person," he said. "She's already a mother; she has an incredible son. I respect so much how she's raised him. She'd be an incredible mother again, and I'd be fortunate, but that's the way in the future."

Earlier in March, Lawrence opened up in an interview with Entertainment Tonight about some of the attributes of Chilli that enamoured him to her.

He also mentioned that they have a lot of chemistry, which has helped them overcome hurdles in their relationship.

He added, "We get along. We'll talk on the phone, and she's like, 'My mom's calling me.' I'm like, 'Get it. I know how important that is.' The same thing my mom calls me. It's not like, 'Why are you talking to your mom?!' It's like, 'Oh, your mom. Go talk to your mom,' you know?"
