Jennifer Garner Says She Avoids News About Ben Affleck: 'It Doesn't Make Me Feel Good'

Jennifer Garner recently shared that she's worked hard not to see news of herself or her ex-husband, Ben Affleck. The former couple were married for 13 years and are now friends as they co-parent their three kids.

During a recent promotional interview for a new show, Garner compared her reality as a mom to her character. Meanwhile, Affleck recently commented on his viral "unhappy" memes from the 2023 Grammys.

The actor laughed about the memes and said he's always had a "very unhappy-looking resting face." Affleck married singer Jennifer Lopez last year, after they previously ended their engagement 20 years ago.

In a new issue of Stellar Magazine, Jennifer Garner revealed that she works hard to avoid seeing any news of herself or her ex-husband, Ben Affleck. The 50-year-old actress said, "I work hard not to see either of us in the press. It doesn't make me feel good, even if it's something nice about one of us."

Garner shared that she forgets that she or anyone she loves is "out there in any way." She said, per Daily Mail, "I don't need to see anyone in my family made into a meme." When asked if she's seen any of Affleck's viral memes on social media, Garner said no but joked that her ex is "quite meme-worthy."

Garner and Affleck were married for about 13 years, from 2005 to 2018, and are still friends despite their split. The former couple now co-parents their three kids, Violet, 17, Seraphina, 14, and Sam, 11. According to the former couple, their children are always their foremost priority.

Garner recently had an interview with Entertainment Tonight to promote her new series with Apple TV+, "The Last Thing He Told Me." During the interview, the "13 Going on 30" star spoke about how her character in the show reflects her reality as a single mother of three children.

Since splitting with Affleck, Garner has been dating her boyfriend and businessman, John Miller, for about five years. Miller is the CEO and Chairman of the CaliBurger restaurant chain and shares two kids with ex-wife and famous violinist Caroline Campbell.

During an appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live," Affleck spoke about the famous memes of his facial expressions. The "Gone Girl" star went viral on social media in February after photos of him looking bored at the 2023 Grammy Awards hit the internet.

According to the actor, his facial expressions have created a "common misconception" that he's not having a good time. During the interview, Affleck and Kimmel spoke about a holiday party he and Lopez hosted in December 2022, where he also seemed bored.

The "Deep Water" star shared that he's always had a "very unhappy-looking resting face," which looks identical to his "content" and "amused" face. Affleck laughed as he added, "That's how God made me. You don't have to punish me for it."

Affleck famously married actress and singer Jennifer Lopez in 2022, after they previously ended their engagement almost 20 years ago. The duo first met in 2001 while working on the film "Gigli" and got engaged the year after.

By 2004, Affleck and Lopez released a statement that they'd decided to end their romance and went on to have long-term relationships with other people. The couple, popularly dubbed the cute name "Bennifer," initially had a lowkey Las Vegas wedding and then a huge, lavish Georgia wedding at the actor's grand property. The Hollywood power couple, who recently appeared in a fun ad for Dunkin' Donuts, are regularly seen together.

The lovebirds were spotted hugging tightly after meeting at the Hamptons Airport in New York. They appeared to be leaving for a family trip with one of Affleck's kids, Samuel. They've been seen with each other's kids severally and often enjoy family outings.
