Jennifer Lopez has come under fire following the launch of her latest business venture.

Netizens had more than enough to say when she announced that she had launched a low-calorie alcohol line called Delola. The critics trooped under the announcement of the company to air their grievances, with one person going as far as declaring their disappointment in the "Shotgun Wedding" actress. The brand's portfolio will include flavors like Paloma Rosa Spritz, Bella Berry Spritz, and L'Orange Spritz.

Jennifer Lopez Offends Critics With Launch Of New Cocktail Brand

Even though Lopez has openly admitted to not drinking, she has launched her exclusive line of alcoholic cocktails. The "Marry Me" lead announced the feat in a video where she admitted to having an alter ego named Lola.

She began by stating that her non-stop grinding over the last ten years had made her realize "the importance of enjoying life," which led her to create "something easy, fun, fresh, and delicious."

"Delola gives people the freedom to enjoy – free from the cutting, squeezing, and mixing, free from the stress of entertaining, free to make ordinary moments extraordinary," the Los Angeles resident added at one point.

Lopez's update has received nearly 500k, with thousands flocking to her comment section. Unfortunately, several people were displeased with the "Love Don't Cost a Thing" hitmaker's actions and expressed it in the comments.

"Why not create a NA brand considering you've been outspoken about the negative effects [sic] of alcohol and that you don't drink?" one person queried. A second commenter claimed it was "hard to buy" into the "Ain't Your Mama" singer's business when she has been "so outspoken about NOT drinking."

The netizen added, "A mocktail would've been more on-brand and amazing for those who also choose not to drink alcohol!" A third Instagram user noted that the 53-year-old beauty only cared about "getting the bag" and not how her business choices affected her fans.

A fourth critic typed that the company "wasn't well thought of n quite insensitive to the man in your life," referring to Lopez's husband, Ben Affleck, a recovering alcoholic.

Meanwhile, this netizen, more concerned about her alter ego's name, asked if she was using the nickname her ex Marc Anthony gave her when she "had a secret affair with him while he was still married to Dayanara."

Per The List, Lopez had disclosed that she avoided taking alcohol because it "wrecked" people's skin as they got older, and she did not want that for herself. Instead, the cosmetics brand owner opted to get nine to ten hours of sleep.
