Lance Reddick's death certificate recently revealed that his cause of death resulted from two heart conditions. However, his wife, Stephanie Reddick, is disputing the cause of death because her husband was "physically fit" in life.
The actor's untimely death came during a busy period as he was working on a press tour for "John Wick 4." At the film's recent premiere, Keanu Reeves and several co-stars honored Reddick with a blue ribbon.

Lance Reddick's Cause Of Death Has Been Confirmed
An official death certificate obtained by TMZ confirmed that Hollywood star Lance Reddick had two heart conditions that killed him. The certificate stated that the "The Wire" star had ischemic heart disease and atherosclerotic coronary artery disease.
According to the American Heart Association, ischemic heart disease is when a person's oxygen and blood flow are restricted or reduced in certain places. The Mayo Clinic says Arteriosclerosis is when blood vessels carrying nutrients and oxygen become stiff and thick, causing clots and restricting blood flow. This can cause a stroke or heart attack.
Reddick's death certificate also revealed that the actor's body would be cremated. He was first found dead on March 17th by his wife, Stephanie, after he collapsed in their California home. The "White House Down" actor was 60 years old when he passed, and at the time, law enforcement reportedly claimed that he'd died from "natural causes."
Stephanie Reddick Is Disputing Her Late Husband's Cause Of Death
However, Reddick's wife's reps have disputed the cause of death stated on the death certificate. Through a representative, Stephanie recently told the New York Post that while Reddick was alive, no medical exam "indicated such conditions."
The rep said, "Lance was the most physically fit person I've ever known. He exercised daily at his home gym, including extensive cardio work, and the availability of gym facilities was a contractual requirement for his work away from home. He ate as if a dietician was monitoring his every meal."
The rep explained that Reddick's family insists that the information from the death certificate is "wholly inconsistent with his lifestyle." They added, "On behalf of Stephanie Reddick, the death certificate information is not corroborated and is inconsistent with the facts known to the family."
Lance Reddick Was Busy With Press For 'John Wick 4'
Reddick's death was a shock because it came during a hectic period for the "Angel Has Fallen" actor. He had been occupied with press tours for "John Wick: Chapter 4," and even missed the film's New York premiere, which was held a few days before he died.
During one of his last interviews on "The Kelly Clarkson Show," Reddick spoke about his "John Wick" co-star, Keanu Reeves and Ian McShane, and called them "his family." He said, "You see, with the three of us, it's not just the family that you're born into, but the family you created and how much we are family."
The late actor had featured in the multiple "John Wick" films over the past ten years, playing the role of Charon. Charon is a hotel concierge and an old friend of the main character, John Wick. The fourth film had its worldwide theater premiere on March 23rd.
Keanu Reeves Honored Lance Reddick At The Film's Premiere
At the "John Wick 4" premiere, Reeves and several co-stars honored Reddick's memory by wearing blue ribbons on their clothes. The actors wore the ribbons as they walked the red carpet, and Reeves even spoke of his late friend during an interview.
The "47 Ronin" star said, "He was a beautiful person, a special artist [and] a man of grace and dignity [with] such a passion for his craft. Working with him for over ten years and four films is very special to me. It f**king sucks he's not here."
Shortly after confirming Reddick's death, Reeves and the film's director, Chad Stahelski, released a joint statement to Deadline. It read that Reddick was "the consummate professional and a joy to work with. Our love and prayers are with his wife, Stephanie, children, family, and friends. We dedicate the film to his loving memory. We will miss him dearly."
