This year, the annual Star Wars Celebration event took place in London from April 7 to April 10.

Many fans have been looking forward to the event, which often teases the release dates for upcoming movies and Disney+ series. Take a look at all of the highlights from Friday, April 7 below!

What do "The Hunger Games, "Squid Game," and "The Matrix" all have in common? Amandla Stenberg, who played little Rue in the first "Hunger Games" movie, Lee Jung-jae from "Squid Game" and Carrie-Anne Moss from "The Matrix" will all appear in "The Acolyte."

Series creator Leslye Headland appeared at the event and shared that the new series will take place between the High Republic era and the beginning of the prequel films. Amandla Stenberg and Lee Jung-jae joined Headland on stage to reveal a teaser trailer for the new show.

This footage, which has not yet been released online, featured Carrie-Anne Moss as a Jedi Master. She was in combat with Stenberg's character. Shots of Lee Jung-jae wielding a lightsaber were also seen.

Season 2 Of 'Andor' Will Hit Disney+ In August 2024

Although "Andor" just wrapped up its first season earlier this year, fans will have to wait until August 2024 to see the "Rogue One" prequel series wrap up Cassian Andor's journey.

Creator Tony Gilroy told the crowd that they started shooting in November and are halfway done. He believes they will finish shooting this August. After a year in post-production, he believes that the second and final season will be ready by August 2024.

Star Diego Luna and actor Andy Serkis also joined Gilroy on stage to release the teaser trailer, which shows Luna on a mission for the Rebellion.

When asked about how he feels about the show ending, Gilroy said that he is "very pleased" with the direction the show is taking because he knows what he has to "deliver."

He added, "It's good to know there's an ending coming," although he still described the series as "creatively potent."

Jude Law Says He's Been A 'Star Wars' Fan Since He Was 6-Years-Old While Talking 'Skeleton Crew'

Actor Jude Law and showrunner Jon Favreau also gave fans a look at the first trailer for "Skeleton Crew," which focuses on a group of children traveling the galaxy and trying to find their way home.

At 2022's Star Wars Celebration, where the series was first announced, Dave Filoni made sure to clarify that although it was a show starring kids, it was not a kids' show. Jude Law appears as a Jedi in the trailer with a shaved head.

Favreau confirmed that many notable names will be directing episodes of "Skeleton Crew," including the newly minted Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert (known collectively as The Daniels), as well as Bryce Dallas Howard, Jon Watts, David Lowery, Lee Isaac Chung, and Jake Schreier.

Law told fans that he was six years old when "this galaxy gripped me" and "blew my mind" and joked that he felt that he was preparing for the role ever since.

'Ahsoka' Will Premiere On Disney+ In August 2023

Although most footage from the Star Wars Celebration event hasn't been released online, the trailer for "Ahsoka" finally was finally released on Twitter along with its release date: August 2023.

Rosario Dawson, who will be reprising her role as Ahsoka Tano, and Mary Elizabeth Winstead, who confirmed she will be playing Hera Sydnulla, took the stage to introduce the trailer to fans.

The two-minute-long teaser opens with Ahsoka warning, “Something’s coming. Something dark. I sense it.” The footage includes shots of Hera flying along with Chopper and some new characters that have been introduced for the series.

The show also gives fans a first look at Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren before it teases that Ahsoka has heard whispers that Grand Admiral Thrawn will return as “heir to the Empire,” which is a nice nod to the Legends novel written by Timothy Zahn and the first installment of the Thrawn trilogy.

Actress Daisy Ridley has also been tapped to lead a new Star Wars film set to take place 15 years after "The Rise of Skywalker." Fans can find out more details about the next series of Star Wars films in the works by clicking here.
