Emmy Rossum Is A 'Muva' Again, Delivered A Healthy Baby Boy

Emmy Rossum has entered a new phase in life: Mothering two under 2.On Wednesday, she welcomed a son into the world.

The Shameless actress shared the exciting news on Instagram today and some pics memorializing the moment. "04.05.23," wrote Rossum. "On a foggy Wednesday morning, our son was born."

Rossum shared her son's footprints, his date of birth, time of delivery, 10:40 a.m., his weight, 6 pounds 10 ounces, and his length, 19.5 inches. Judging by all the information we got about the little guy Rossum is thrilled to meet this person who was inhabiting her body for nine months.

She shared a picture of her pregnant belly, looking ready to pop. She holds open her shirt so her followers get the best view of her belly. Rossum has been all stomached during her pregnancy.

She is one of those pregnant people who don't look pregnant from behind. Also, it's important to point out Rossum told no one she was expecting. Like her last pregnancy, she hid the big news and her pronounced belly from her social media fans and the paps.

No word on a name yet, but Rossum has shared a sweet final snap of her baby boy's little lips and plump cheeks. He is wrapped in a blanket like a little burrito. She tags her husband, writer/director Sam Esmail who sadly is no longer on Instagram because Facebook owns it—enough said.

The two tied the knot in 2017 after dating for a few years. This new baby is the second for the couple.

Since sharing the news, Rossum has promptly popped off IG and is likely attending to her mother's duties. Rossum hasn't kept her fans up-to-date with her pregnancy progress or pictures here and there. She is extremely private about her personal life.

The singer is now a mom of two under two, and if she thought parenting was a ride before, it's about to get crazier!

Last Mother's Day, Rossum shared a few memorable moments during her first year as a mom, and this year, she has welcomed a new baby and will be celebrating her second Mother's Day with baby #2. Will she have baby #3 by next Mother's Day?

"Mother's Day. The first year has been full of playing, crawling, eating, carrying pacifiers in mouths, and holding hands. I am so deeply grateful to be your mom.," she wrote. Emmy shared pics of her baby girl snuggling up to her, hand painting, crawling, or at least trying to, enjoying a day at the park. So many fun milestones!

Rossum's friends, fans, and family flooded her comment section with love for her new bundle of joy and the journey of having two kids. "That's lovely. Congratulations to you and your family!"

"Congratulations!!! That sweet nose 😍," commented another.

Some were annoyed that Rossum only shared the news now. "ANOTHER SURPRISE PREGNANCY. WHY."
