“Shameless” may have come to an end after 11 seasons, but the ‘Gallagher’ family still lives on in many fans’ hearts.

Emma Kenney, who played Debbie Gallagher, recently opened up about her time on the show and her relationship with Emmy Rossum, who played the eldest Gallagher child Fiona.

Emma visited the “Call Her Daddy” podcast and said that once Emmy left the show for good, the vibe on set became much better.

“The set became more of a positive place,” Emma revealed.

Prior to Rossum leaving, Kenney revealed, “I’d go to set some days and I’d be very anxious having a scene with her because if she had a bad day, she made it a bad day for everybody.”

She also admitted that she had a sisterly relationship with Emmy that was good and bad.

Emmy left the show in 2018 after nine seasons.

Prior to her departure, it was reported that Emmy left due to a pay disparity.

Reports claimed Emmy wanted to be paid as much, if not more, than her co-star William H. Macy, who played the patriarch Frank Gallagher.
