"Big Energy" rapper Latto recently opened up about how negative comments from social media trolls have affected her self-esteem, making her insecure about her looks.
Opening the discussion on the premiere episode of her Apple Music show "777 Radio," Latto disclosed to her guest, Chloe Bailey, that she has seen derogatory comments online suggesting she looks like an "old white woman."
Sharing that the negative feedback on social media has exacerbated her insecurities, the 24-year-old rapper told Bailey, per Insider, "I never thought I looked old until I read it on the internet. Now I think I look like an old white woman."

During the conversation, Bailey also shared her experience of feeling insecure due to cyberbullying from social media trolls. The "Swarm" actress revealed that online bullies targeted her at last year's VMAs for the way she sat in her chair, making her self-conscious and uncomfortable.
Bailey explained that she was wearing a corset and trying to "sit up straight and look forward" to avoid drawing attention to her attire. However, when she went online, she saw lewd comments and sexual insinuations about her posture, saying she "was about to have sex with the chair."
"I can't just sit down?" Bailey stated. "I'm like, 'Now, I'm not even gyrating on the chair. I am sitting like this. I'm sitting like this looking forward."
Chloe Bailey Denies Rumor Of Relationship With Migos Rapper Quavo
During the chat, Latto and Bailey got candid about the rumors of the "Pray It Away" singer dating Migos rapper Quavo. The two artists are set to co-star in the upcoming musical comedy "Praise This," which will be released on Peacock on April 7th.
Latto brought up the rumors saying, "The tea was that you were talking to Quavo," and asked Bailey if there was any truth to the stories. In response, the "Have Mercy" hitmaker denied the rumors, stating that they were working together on the movie and that Quavo is a "really nice guy." She also mentioned liking his hairstyle, specifically "his locs."
Bailey expressed confusion about the rumor saying she didn't know where it "came from" before reiterating that there was no romantic involvement between her and Quavo.
During their conversation, Latto and Bailey touched on various topics, including relationships and body image. They also talked about Bailey's successful show "Swarm," which caused a stir on social media due to a steamy sex scene between Bailey and her co-star, Damson Idris.

Ahead of Bailey's interview, Latto announced the launch of her show on Instagram. In the teaser trailer, the rapper dressed in a flight attendant uniform, welcoming her future listeners to "777 Air."
"Welcome aboard 777 Air. I'm Big Latto, and I'll be your flight attendant today," she said in the clip. "Please put the BS on airplane mode and leave all your baggage home. Because we goin' outside, baby. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride," she added.
In a press release, Latto teased what fans should expect from the overall show saying, "I'm going to keep it very personal and play what I listen to." She also pledged her support to up-and-coming artists who deserve more recognition stating, "I'm going to highlight new artists that I feel like the world needs to hear, artists that I think deserve more spotlight."
Latto added, "I listen to a lot of female rap, so supporting the girls and a lot of Southern music."
