Chris Pratt shares an incredible detail about his swooning romance with his wife of nearly five years, author Katherine Schwarzenegger.
The couple, who share two beautiful children, became an item in 2018 and tied the knot in June of the following year.
And although they are not the type to rave about their blissful marriage in the open, Pratt recently did the opposite, giving an exciting insight into how he and his now-wife met.
Chris Pratt And Katherine Schwarzenegger First Met In A 'Place Of Faith'
During a recent appearance on "The Drew Barrymore Show," the Minnesota native narrated his first encounter with his spouse, leading to a whirlwind love story.
"I met Katherine, now it was five, maybe six years ago," he said on the episode. "And God has a fast forward button, but when it's right – boom, you're hit. You fall in love; you get married." Before meeting Schwarzenegger, the "Wanted" actor was at a point in his life where he struggled and "felt broken."
He confessed so, adding that his healing journey was about "finding a higher power and leaning on that and feeling like, 'Please save me," Afterwards, he got saved and shortly after met "the woman of my dreams."
Discussing how things worked out effortlessly for him and Arnold Schwarzenegger's daughter, Pratt elaborated, "It's all about timing, you know. There's a perfect plan out there for you, and I think you've just got to have faith, and if you have faith, it falls into place."
When asked about his and Schwarzenegger's first encounter in "a place of faith," he recalled, "We met at a church. I was in the front row of the church, which is like you don't want to be like, 'Woah, who's that? At a church. You know what I mean?"
He continued, "But I was sneaking glances and wondering, 'Who's that? Anyway, what am I doing? Come on; I'm broken; help me. But who's that?'" Adding more details, he shared, "So we kind of hit it off — and we didn't start dating right away, but we met there and later on ended up going out."
The host, Drew Barrymore, later enquired if it was a quick connection between the lovebirds, and he confirmed that it was "swift," adding, "It was like, okay, it all made sense. You know when you're doing a puzzle, and there's a piece, and you're like, 'I'm certain that's the piece,' and then you jam it, and it looks like it should be the piece – you're like, 'Oh it's that one.'"
The "Jennifer's Body" actor confessed, "It just fits together. You're like, 'Oh, it fits because it was the piece that was made to fit there.' It felt like that."

Pratt and Schwarzenegger dated for about a year after he called it quits on his first marriage of eight years to fellow movie star Anna Faris. The former couple publicly announced their separation via social media with matching posts expressing disappointment.
In November 2018, the divorce was finalized, but earlier in June, Pratt and Schwarzenegger were seen on a picnic after reportedly being in communication for months. The author's mother, Maria Shriver, was said to have set the duo up, leading to more dates and their eventual public kiss in July 2018.
Later in December, they went Instagram official and took a joint vacation in Mexico for New Year's Eve before getting engaged the following month.
The 'Moneyball' Star Shockingly Excludes Ex-Wife In International Women's Day Tribute
Although Pratt and his ex-wife seem on good terms despite their divorce, he excluded her from his International Women's Day tribute, causing backlash from fans. The 43-year-old actor took to Instagram on a particular day with a group photo of his partner, mother-in-law, Shriver, and sister-in-law, Christina, all wearing black outfits.
"We would be nothing if it weren't for the women in our lives," he wrote in the caption. "From my wife, mom, and sister to all the incredible women on my team who hold it down daily."
He added an acknowledgment note for his wife and mother-in-law but failed to mention Faris, which fans pointed out in the comments section, slamming him for "forgetting" the woman who birthed his son.
One such commenter stated on Twitter, "Why is it that when Chris Pratt talks about his current wife and kids with her, it sounds like he's shitting on Anna Faris and their kid together? Lol."
