What do Lizzo, Jack Black, and Christopher Lloyd have in common? They all appeared on the latest episode of the "Star Wars" series "The Mandalorian."

The Disney+ series, which is now in its third season, features Pedro Pascal as the titular Mandalorian, Din Djarin, and Grogu, affectionately known as Baby Yoda. Although many celebrities, including Bill Burr and Amy Sedaris, have made an appearance in a galaxy far, far away, fans were shocked to see the two singers appear in the sixth episode of the show's third season.

In the sixth episode of the show's third season, Din Djarin, Grogu, and Bo-Katan Kryze, played by Katee Sackhoff, visit the independent planet of Plazir-15 that is thriving under the fall of the Empire. The king and queen of the new planet are played by Lizzo and Jack Black, who are easily recognizable in their costumes.

Jack Black plays Captain Bombardier while Lizzo is known simply as the Dutchess. The two rule the planet Bombardier was once an Imperial officer who participated in the New Republic amnesty program after the war had ended. He fell in love with the Duchess after visiting the planet, and the two now rule over the planet.

Both are equally excited to meet Grogu, especially the Dutchess, who uses Grogu to help her win a game of bocce. Later on in the episode, she uses a sword to knight Grogu, which is not something that most "Star Wars" fans had on their "The Mandalorian" bingo cards.

While Grogu stays with them, Din Djarin and Bo-Katan head off to investigate why battle droids are malfunctioning. Ultimately, they learn that the malfunctioning droids are the work of the planet's Commissioner, who just so happens to be a Separatist. The Commissioner is played by Christopher Lloyd, now 84.

Although reports surfaced that the "Back to the Future" alum was going to appear in a galaxy far, far away over a year ago, most fans did not expect to see him in this episode. The actor delivers a memorable monologue that also includes some praise for the late Count Dooku (played by the late Christopher Lee).

Although we won't spoil how the episode ends, there is an important plot point that involves both Bo-Katan and the Darksaber. It remains to be seen how many other celebrity cameos will appear in this season of "The Mandalorian," but it looks like the show already added the biggest Grogu fan of them all.

For Halloween 2021, The Blast reported that Lizzo had actually appeared as Baby Yoda for Halloween. She donned an oversized jacket and painted her face green, topping off her costume with a long blonde wig and Yoda-like ears. “CEO OF [pleading-face emoji] FOR HALLOWEEN,” she captioned the pic. “GROGU LOVE MACAROONIS.”

In the photo, she can be seen eating blue macaroons, reminiscent of the space cookies that Baby Yoda steals from another child in the episode titled “Chapter 12: The Siege” in season 2.

She later posted a whole Instagram carousel that showed ‘Baby Yoda’ out on the town. In the caption, Lizzo wrote, “A representative from Grogu’s publicity team has issued a statement regarding the paparazzi photos taken last night: ‘Grogu aka Baby Yoda aka The Child has no recollection of these events. In fact, these events never happened *jedi hand wave*’”

As one fan wrote, "This is definitely the way."

Season 3 of "The Mandalorian" is available to stream on Disney+. New episodes drop each Wednesday.
