Nipsey Hussle Suspected Killer Has History of Gun Charges, Domestic Violence

The man accused of pulling the trigger on Nipsey Hussle has found himself in legal issues many times over the years, including weapons arrests and domestic violence that resulted in anger management counseling.

The Blast obtained legal documents for Eric Holder, who was arrested Tuesday for the shooting death of Nipsey.

Holder was arrested back in 2012 in Los Angeles and charged with two felonies for carrying a loaded firearm. He later worked out a deal with prosecutors and pled no contest to one felony charge and was sentenced to 6-months in L.A. County jail. Holder was also given credit for time served.

The accused murderer was also ordered not to "own, use or possess any dangerous or deadly weapons, including firearms, knives or other concealable weapons."

Firearm possession is not Holder's only violent crime, because in 2009 he was arrested and charged with domestic battery against his baby mama. He ended up pleading down to a battery charge after working out a deal to complete an anger management treatment program, as well as stay away from 100 yards away from his baby mama.

Holder's anger management treatment program was classified as level 3, which is a minimum 36 hour - 52 hour course that covers topics like handling stress, discussing problems and taking time-outs.

As we reported, Holder was arrested by L.A. County Sheriff's deputies after attempting to receive treatment at a mental health facility in Bellflower, CA.

It's unclear if he had been treated at that specific facility before, but sources familiar with the situation tell us Holder had apparently been treated for mental health issues in the past.

Holder is currently being held with no bail for the murder of Nipsey Hussle.
