Actor Alec Baldwin is paying tribute to his wife, Hilaria Baldwin, on their 11-year engagement anniversary.
The actor took to Instagram to share a touching photo of his wife lying on the floor under a "pile" of children, as he put it.
Alec Baldwin Thanks Hilaria Baldwin For Giving Him Seven Kids In 11-Year Engagement Anniversary Tribute
On Friday afternoon, the “30 Rock” actor took to Instagram to share a photo of Hilaria lying face-down on the floor, surrounded by some of the couple’s children. “Eleven years ago today, I got engaged to a wonderful human being,” he wrote in the caption.
“She’s under this pile somewhere,” he joked, adding, “11 years, 7 kids, and an ocean of memories later, I love you, Hilaria.” Alec has limited comments on his post to show only the most positive ones. “I love your love. Wishing your family every happiness this life has to offer, Alec!” one fan commented.
“Amazing women who made you in love and your life are magical… Congratulations Alec and Hilaria. Love you both,” another follower chimed in. “The most important ‘Yes’ Hilaria has ever said!” another fan teased.
“You have a beautiful life together, pay no attention to all the negativity, love seeing all the lovely posts of your 7 happy children, Hilaria is a wonderful Mama, bless you ALL,” another follower shared.
The Couple Just Celebrated Their Wedding Anniversary Last Month

Although Hilaria didn’t take to Instagram to post anything for their couple’s engagement anniversary, they both took to Instagram to pay tribute to each other on their wedding anniversary last month. The “Beetlejuice” actor shared a throwback photo of him carrying a younger Hilaria up the stairs at the Cannes film festival.
“February 18, 2011. A younger, fitter me met this woman who changed my life. Here we are at Cannes, and I carry her up the steps of the red carpet,” he wrote in the caption. “(I can still carry her, but there might be a lot of puffing.) Te quiero, mi vida. Y gracias para nuestros niños.”
Many users weren’t happy to see Alec’s comment in Spanish, as Hilaria Baldwin – born Hillary Lynn Hayward-Thomas in Boston, Massachusetts – has been accused of “faking” her Spanish heritage and speaking with a “fake” Spanish accent since December 2020.
“Did you find her in Spain?” one user asked. “Enough with the Spanish affectation!” another follower wrote. “Here we are with the Spanish speaking and she speaks perfect English. He thinks we forgot,” another user chimed in. “I love this couple BUT I was disappointed to find out your wife is faking the whole Spaniard thing. Why!? Stay true to yourselves,” another follower shared.
Hilaria Baldwin Shares A Photo From The Year After They Met At Emporio
In her Instagram tribute last month, the podcast host shared a photo of the two sitting inside the Italian restaurant Emporio in New York City about a year after they first met. “12 years ago, this night, we met. What a journey we have had been through, to, in, and around and continuing…every emotional place I don’t think either one of us could have ever predicted,” she wrote in the caption. “
“But here we are…still standing, surrounded by all of you amazing humans, our tiny babes…and together. In it with you, Alec…I’m here, we are here…never alone,” she added. “This photo is probably a yearish after we met??? @emporionyc (both much younger and less🥴).”
Famous friends were quick to shower the post with red heart emojis and wish the two a happy anniversary. “It has been a journey indeed. You and your family will never be alone. We love and stand by you always,” one fan commented. “Such beautiful words from a beautiful soup. Many more to you two and to the 7 littles,” another follower chimed in.
Things have been difficult for the couple ever since October 2021, when a gun that Baldwin was holding on the set of the Western film "Rust" went off and killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.
Baldwin and "Rust" armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed have each been charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter, which could result in up to 18 months behind bars and around $5,000 in fines.
Both have pled not guilty, while first assistant director Dave Halls pled guilty to the charge of the negligent use of a firearm. A preliminary trial is scheduled to begin in May, while "Rust" begins filming again in late April in Montana.
