Sam Asghari Explains Why He Is Not Wearing His Wedding Ring

If there is martial trouble between Sam Asghari and Britney Spears, the couple is keeping those cards close to their chest for now.
The Iranian actor met the pop star on the set of her "Slumber Party" music video in 2016 and proposed in September 2021. The two tied the knot in the backyard of her Thousand Oaks estate in June 2022.
However, the two are rarely spotted out in public together, and Britney was recently photographed without her wedding ring on vacation in Hawaii with her longtime manager Cade Hudson. Sam was also spotted running errands in Los Angeles also without his wedding ring, causing some to believe that the couple may on the road to calling it quits.

On Friday afternoon, a rep for the Iranian actor, Brandon Cohen, told Page Six that Britney and Sam are still going strong even though they’re not wearing their wedding rings. The BAC publicist said that Sam took off his ring because he is currently filming a movie.
However, it’s not immediately clear why Britney has decided to go without her ring. The 41-year-old pop star was photographed arriving at LAX on Tuesday. She wasn’t wearing a wedding ring, but photographers for the Daily Mail did catch her holding a large stuffed teddy bear as she made her way over to her private plane.
Sources told Page Six that Sam did not join Britney on her trip to Hawaii simply because he has been busy with work. Regardless, that hasn’t stopped fans from being concerned about Sam’s “control” over Britney, with some followers speculating that he is in charge of her social media accounts.
Sam Denies Controlling Britney Spears’ Social Media Accounts
In December 2022, fans started to express concern that Britney wasn’t as free as she appeared to be and that Sam was actually running her social media accounts. When TMZ caught up to the actor and asked him if he was “controlling Britney,” Sam replied, “I don’t even control what we have for dinner.”
“You know, in the past, there has been a lot of stuff going on, so I understand where [fans are] coming from,” Sam said, adding, “They’re just being protective. If anything, they’re being good fans.” Regardless, fans have noticed that Britney has cut down on the NSFW photos on her Instagram page after her husband came out against them.
After Britney posted several now-deleted topless videos on Instagram in December 2022, Sam provided a rare comment on how he really feels about her polarizing videos. Although he called her “The only person in the world that gets bullied for posting things like this,” Sam did admit, “I personally preferred she never posted these but who am I to control someone that’s been under a microscope and been controlled for most of her life.”
Britney Spears Was Back Rolling Around In The Sand Earlier This Week!
Earlier this week, Britney shared a 90-second-long video on Instagram that featured her rolling around in the sand. She is wearing a mismatched neon green bikini top with pink strings and a cheetah-print bikini bottom.
Britney begins the video by lying on the sand with her hair pulled in a messy bun behind her. The water rushes up to meet her legs as Britney arches her back again before the video cuts to Britney standing in the shallow waves. She gets down on all fours and then spreads her legs as the waves rush up to greet her.
The video shows Cade kneeling in the sand before it cuts to Britney literally rolling around in the sand, which covers her lower body. Britney and Cade later walk side by side along the beach together as Britney takes her hand and puts it behind Cade’s neck.
Britney did not write anything in the caption of the video and she did not allow users to leave comments on her video. The "Toxic" singer has been disabling comments since the beginning of the year and it doesn't look like she plans to stop any time soon.
The pop star also took to Instagram to share two photos of her posing side-by-side with Cade, but before she was able to disable the comments, fans were quick to notice that his fly was unzipped!
UPDATE: Sam Still Has His Ring!
Sam took to his Instagram Stories later in the day to "prove" that he still had his wedding ring.
He posed with his hand beside his head as she stared into the camera.
He also supported previous claims that he wasn't wearing his ring because he was filming a movie.
In his Instagram Stories, the former personal trainer shared a photo of a parking lot outside Stage 6 with the words "Great Day At Work" written over the photo.
