Brooklyn Beckham Clears The Air About Cooking Career, Says He's Not A Chef

If you’ve thought all along that Brooklyn Beckham is a chef, you can cancel that out.

The first son of former football player David Beckham and fashion designer Victoria Beckham has had an exciting career path. From modeling to photography and even being a chef, the youngster seems to be exploring. 

While the 24-year-old took an interest in cooking, he has been bashed by fans one too many times for his absurd cooking skills. Now, the former model is clearing the air about his supposed career as a chef.

The former photographer, who has previously posted strings of cooking videos, addressed his cooking career after receiving terrible fan reviews.

Brooklyn posed a question-and-answer segment via his Instagram stories, allowing his followers to ask him anything. A curious follower asked if he was a chef, and the British native replied, “Nope x but food is my passion.” He shared the shocking revelation alongside a photo of his hand covering his face.

Perhaps Brooklyn’s confession of his career status comes from the realization that his cooking career has been an epic fail, as he received several criticisms from his cooking videos, it's unsure. However, earlier this month, he received the heat from fans when he debuted his Fettuccini Alfredo recipe, which fans claimed looked nothing like the real Alfredo. 

One fan expressed their displeasure over the meal, writing, “There is not 1 thing in this recipe that is Alfredo???? This is a Béchamel. I’m sure it’s good but it is spaghetti in Béchamel not Alfredo.” A second observer remarked, “No no and again no! So many mistakes in only one dish! Please no!” 

Back in January, the 24-year-old put out a video tutorial preparing the popular loved mean, Beef Roast. As expected, many of his followers had something to say about the dish, often comparing the meal to "Raw beef." Several left not-so-good reviews for the media personality. 

One individual poked fun that, “A good vet could bring that back to life.” Another observer commented, “Heart attack on a plate. ” A third follower further opined that the meal was undercooked and that Brooklyn “might as well bite the cow while it’s grazing.”

Similarly, he got a handful of criticism when he dropped his recipe for the vegan Lasagna.  In the footage, the media personality had detailed preparations for the meal. However, fans weren't at all impressed! A fan bluntly wrote, “You’re not a chef. Where’s the lentils thicken the dish and the oat milk bechmele. Vegan yes... But not a great lasagne ?.” 

Another individual added, “That genuinely looks disgusting. Any chef will tell you to tear basil. Never cut. Just no.” As if Brooklyn’s recipes haven’t gotten him enough roasting from the Internet, he previously told influencer Daniel Mac that being a chef afforded him a luxurious car. 

As reported, Mac, who asks random drivers of expensive vehicles how they pay for them, interviewed Brooklyn after the former model was spotted cruising in a red McLaren P1 that costs a whopping $1.2 million.

Mac had questioned Brooklyn about what he did for a living to which he responded, “Um, I’m a chef.” Prompting Mac to say, “You’re a chef! Really? Are you like the best chef in the world?” Brooklyn replied, “Tryna be!”

After the clip went viral, the eldest of the Beckham kids receive heavy backlash for his claims. One person wrote, “Not him pretending being a chef got him that car… Brooklyn, please,” while another person mocked, "'What do you do for a living?’ ‘My parents are rich so I just kinda vibe.'"

The husband to heiress Nicola Peltz has dabbled into many things, and in January, he tried his hands at being a stylist. But fans quickly noticed the career switch.  Per The Blast, he participated in Vogue's “7 Days, 7 Looks” series on TikTok and gave his opinions on his wife’s looks. 

In no time, critics ripped the reality star for the switch. One critic wrote, “Is this Brooklyn Beckham… the Brooklyn Beckham, chef, photographer, stylist extraordinaire.” Reality TV star Spencer Pratt joined in writing, “Not just a chef and photographer he also a celeb stylist ?.”

One other person even gave him a nickname. The person commented, “He’s had so many ‘careers,’ he’s basically Barbie Beckham.”
