Despite leading very private lives, the "Come to Daddy" actor shared a rare glimpse into his family's morning routine, which starts with their "3-year-old son and a 14-month-old daughter" waking them up "pretty early." The actor shared that he enjoys acting as a father, stating, "I like getting up early; I like starting the day."

This marks the first time Wood has spoken publicly about having two children. The couple, who previously worked together on the 2017 film "I Don't Feel at Home in This World Anymore," quietly welcomed their first child, Evan, in 2019. It wasn't until his appearance on "Late Night With Seth Meyers" in 2020 that the 42-year-old actor disclosed his first child's birth, revealing that he found out they were pregnant on Christmas Eve.

In his interview with WSJ, Wood got candid about his decision to keep his family life private, revealing that only those close to him and his partner, Kongsved, knew of their children through a personal Instagram account. "I wanted to be able to share photos that I didn't necessarily want to share with the world," he explained. "An account that's public-facing would really change what I share."

Wood and Kongsved first confirmed speculation about their relationship in 2018 after being spotted holding hands in Pasadena, California. While rumors of an engagement between the couple have circulated in the past, with Kongsved seen wearing a ring on her left hand in 2019, their relationship status remains unchanged.
