Shakira Reportedly Has Love To Look Forward To In Miami!

Shakira's love life is seemingly heating up.

The Colombian native is gearing up to move to Miami, Fl. in the coming weeks, and she’ll have more than a new change of scenery to look forward to.

According to the Spanish media outlet OK Diario, the songstress has a romantic interest in Miami.

She reportedly met a “mystery man” months ago before releasing her diss track about her ex, Gerard Piqué.

“It seems the Colombian singer could have found a new illusion in the shape of a mysterious man she met in Miami and has been in contact with for four months,” OK Diario reported over the weekend.

However, Shakira’s reps have denied these “mystery man” claims.

Shakira was loosely linked to her surf instructor back in December 2022.

The instructor is 24-year-old Gorka Ezkurdia.

A photo of Shakira holding onto Gorka in a wet recently made the internet rounds.

Gorka also served as the surf instructor for the retired fútbol player and their two children.

However, the ‘Waka Waka’ singer has something to say about all of the noise.

"Out of respect for my children and the vulnerable moment they are going through, I ask the media to stop the speculation," she addressed. "I have no partner and nothing other than devoting myself entirely to my children and their welfare."

Piqué has moved on with a young employee of his Kosmos company. They got together soon after news of his and Shakira’s breakup swept the media.

Shakira has subliminally talked about her breakup from Piqué through her song lyrics.

She opened up a bit about her romantic and legal situation on the September 2022 cover of Elle.

The country of Spain is after Shakira and her money because they believe she skipped out on paying millions to the country.

If Shakira’s found guilty, she could face up to eight years behind bars.

She allegedly skipped out on paying $14.7 million in taxes when she lived in Spain between 2012 and 2014. Shakira claims she did not live in Spain during this period.

During this period, Shakira’s main residence was in the Bahamas, but prosecutors say she lived most of the time in Spain.

She was splitting her time between the Bahamas and Barcelona due to her former relationship with Piqué, and his career with FC Barcelona.

Shakira admitted to ELLE that she has endured the “darkest hours” of her life amid the Spanish government’s accusations.

“I’ve paid everything they claimed I owed, even before they filed a lawsuit,” she told Elle magazine. “So as of today, I owe zero to them. And finally, I was advised by one of the four biggest tax specialist firms in the world, PricewaterhouseCoopers, so I was confident that I was doing things correctly and transparently from day one.”

Shakira calls the Spanish government’s claims “false accusations,” and she plans to fight the case as a “matter of principle.”

“However, even without evidence to support these fictional claims, as they usually do, they’ve resorted to a salacious press campaign to try to sway people, and apply pressure in the media along with the threat of reputational damage in order to coerce settlement agreements,” she explained.

Shakira added that “Spanish tax authorities do this often” not just to celebrities but also to the “regular taxpayer.”

The Colombian native also dove into her recent split from her partner of nearly 12 years.

“It’s hard to talk about it, especially because I’m still going through it, and because I’m in the public eye and because our separation is not like a regular separation,” she said. “And so it’s been tough not only for me, but also for my kids.”
