Gwyneth Paltrow has loyal friends who will stick up for her under any circumstance. TikTokerMeredith Lynch, a Los Angeles writer/pop culture analyst, recently learned that and shared her story with her followers.

After giving her thoughts on Paltrow’s current televised trial, one of the actress’s friends dropped into Lynch’s DMs to say a thing or two about it.

Since a lot of Lynch’s followers tagged her in a clip of the current trial, she decided to give her “hot take” on all that’s going on.

“So Gwyneth is definitely pi**ed that we have moved on from 'Almond Mom' and we are like all about the court case this week,” she said. “And I think she thought that the Almond Mom bone broth rant would kind of created enough press to distract us this week, but it didn’t.”

She then addressed Paltrow directly.

“Here’s the deal. I know that your default body language the second that things don’t go your perfect Brentwood way is to like just go full on I wanna speak to the manager, etc. You gotta dial it back. You are not at an Erewhon waiting to speak to the manager and, like, taking all your aggression out on a cashier. You’re in the courtroom.”

That quick video of Lynch’s opinion sparked a fire in one of Paltrow’s friends who then DM’d the TikTok creator “some really nasty unhinged” Instagram messages.

“They told me they saw my TikToks but they don’t have any active account so they told me they went on to Instagram to send me messages,” she explained. “They were so mean, so nasty.”

She explained that the messages were sent to her at 8:20 and she instantly saw them, but by 8:30, the messages were deleted and she was blocked. But never fail, most social media enthusiasts are trained to screenshot things for one reason or another and that’s just what Lynch did.

“Obviously this person is super well connected and pretty famous in their world,” she concluded her video. She didn’t say who sent the messages in the first TikTok video on the subject, but in an update video, she spilled the tea. See the video HERE.

Lynch didn’t want to name names at first because she said this person is “really, really, really wealthy and really well connected” and a business partner of Paltrow.

“I am really concerned that this person like could do something to you know retaliate against me,” she said. “They are incredibly well connected and wealthy.”

She then explained that while they may be wealthy, they are public figures, and the public is allowed to speak about them openly.

In another follow-up video, it was time to reveal the person who sent the mean messages. “His name is Patrick Herning and he is the CEO of a size-inclusive fashion brand and a beauty brand as well,” she said. She then shared a screenshot of the since-deleted message that he sent her on Instagram.

She also showed proof that he blocked her right after deleting the message that he sent and then unsent.

Another follow-up video addressed a follower’s comment - “I guarantee he’s embarrassed and regrets sending these messages. Not his best moment and he knew it which is why he unsent it.”

“I think there is a very good chance that Patrick is embarrassed and regrets the message that he said, and I would welcome an apology truly and I would accept an apology,” she said. “Patrick, if you would like to apologize to me, you do know how to DM me, you’ve made that very clear.”

Lynch said it was pretty scary to get such a DM from someone who has business ties to Paltrow. When you know what wealthy, well-connected people are capable of, that can be scary, she explained.

Many of Lynch’s followers left messages about their experiences and things they’ve heard regarding Paltrow. In one video, Lynch addresses a comment about Paltrow being a rude person more often than not. Another video addressed a comment about Paltrow’s business partners maybe being afraid if Paltrow goes down, they will too.

“It’s a survival tactic by someone in power,” a follower explained. Another follower tackled the topic of TikTok’s free speech platform scaring celebrities.

Patrick Herning Blocked And Deleted Meredith Lynch But Finally Apologized To Her

“I did hear from Patrick Herning. He reached out and we connected on the phone, and he owned what he did and he apologized in a way that felt genuine to me,” she said in a follow-up video.

“I have accepted Patrick’s apology. I feel like it was genuine and I’m moving forward.”

Lynch's TikTok followers left their thoughts on the whole situation and how it concluded in the comment section. Tons of humor also filled the comment section.

"Miranda - I have Patrick," one person joked, not missing an opportunity to reference the popular movie "The Devil Wears Prada."

"Blink twice if you were forced to make this video," another person wrote.

"I'm glad he apologized because he was way out of line. Glad you feel good about it and it was genuine," another person said.

This Wasn't The First Time Meredith Lynch Ruffled Some Feathers On Social Media

This wasn't Lynch's first time dealing with some backlash from speaking her mind openly on TikTok. In another multi-part TikTok series, Lynch claimed that former "Real Housewives of New York City" star Bethenny Frankel sent her a cease and desist letter for "defamatory statements" after Lynch shared her negative thoughts about Frankel's brands.

Much of Lynch's TikTok page is filled with opinions and her "hot takes" on pop culture, celebrities, and everything in between. She's recently shared some videos on politicians and Meta, the possible TikTok ban, skincare, celebrity brands, Vanderpump Rules, and much more.
