The win was so special for the twins. They helped the Hurricanes advance to the Sweet 16 for the first time in 31 years.
“It’s hard to put into words,” Haley said in an interview.
“I know that’s corny, but this is why we came here, this is why we chose to transfer, chose to put ourselves in uncomfortable situations,” she added.
Hanna and Haley played for Fresno State for three seasons before transferring to Miami.
