Jana Kramer Talks Future Intention 'To Be In The Same Place' As New BF: 'I Can't Move Right Now'

Jana Kramer is clearing up some facts about her new relationship.
The actress, who shares two children, Jolie and Jace, with her ex-husband Mike Caussin, has been dating her Scottish soccer coach Allan Russell for five months. She recently opened up about how being far away from each other affects them and how they plan to deal with it.

In a recent episode of her podcast "Whine Down with Jana Kramer," the 39-year-old star revealed that while she would love to move to Scotland to be with her beau, it was not possible at the moment due to her parenting responsibilities.
While the two are happy together, they are also content with keeping their relationship long-distance - at least for now. She also disclosed that choosing to remain in Nashville was for the sake of her two young children.
During the chat, the country singer reflected on the skepticism she faced when she first started dating the 42-year-old. Kramer shared that she initially approached the relationship with a casual mindset but eventually found herself pondering the potential of a deeper connection.
According to the mother-of-two, moving to England with her two young children was not an option, considering their age and her ex-husband's situation. She stated, "I can't move right now to England with my two kids. I don't think that would be fair, at the age they are, for my ex and all of that, so what can you do?"
However, she expressed that the goal was to ultimately reside in the same location as her boyfriend, adding, "And with his work, too, it's one of those things where he's a soccer coach, so he works in England, could potentially work here in the States. So I think the goal would be to be in the same place."
She revealed that while they were exploring their relationship, she told the former professional footballer she met on a dating app, "You make work what you want to make work."
She clarified that she would not move her kids to the UK, stating, "I would never uproot the kids, I'll just say that." Instead, she explained that they were considering options like Russell visiting Nashville during his months off from work to make their relationship work.
The "Approaching Midnight" star expressed her confidence in her long-distance relationship with him, saying that she was not worried about when they would see each other next, as she believed that everything would fall into place if it were meant to be.
She did, however, dodge a question about whether her new beau had met her ex-husband by stating that she was trying to keep their relationship private. Kramer also expressed her desire to avoid discussing any future relationship hardships from a place of hurt on her podcast and emphasized that she cherished the level of "respect" present in their relationship.

Kramer first revealed her romance with the former England striker coach on the "Whine Down" podcast in January. Following her divorce from ex-husband Mike Caussin in July 2021, she was linked to names like Jay Cutler and Ian Schinelli a year after.
Taking to her Instagram page, The Blast shared that Kramer uploaded a sweet snap of herself and Russell showing off their happiness together. In the photo, she wore a brown blazer and black pants and accessorized with gold hoop earrings and several rings, leaving her wavy blonde hair on either side of her shoulder.
Her handsome beau, who hugged her from behind, was dressed in a black coat, jeans, and a white turtleneck. The duo appeared in high spirits as they shared a moment of laughter, with the "Spring Breakdown" actress even throwing her head back in amusement.
The accompanying caption on the Instagram post read, "Back where it all started... Also, this is so us... trying to take a photo ?." Her fans flooded the comments section to share their thoughts on her new relationship, like this person who wrote, "Mama if anyone deserves this… it's YOU!!! God Bless!!♥️♥️♥️."
