Amanda Kloots has remembered her late husband, Nick Cordero, through another remarkable milestone.

Since the actor died in July 2020, his wife has been dedicated to keeping his memory alive by commemorating events that shaped their relationship before his passing. In her latest update, the mother-of-one treated herself to a manicure day in honor of the day Cordero unexpectedly proposed.

Although short-lived, "The Talk" co-host's romance with the late star began after they met on the "Bullets Over Broadway" set in 2014. The 41-year-old played Cheech — a gangster and aspiring auteur and Kloots was a dancer in the ensemble.

The duo quickly formed a friendship where they spent hours talking to each other after work. The "Waitress" actor eventually proposed during one of their many trips to the Hudson Valley years later.

While it was not exactly what she expected, the dancer was thrilled to "live happily ever after" with the man of her dreams. The memorable moment became even more intense after the "A Bronx Tale: The Musical" star passed away following a brief battle with COVID-19.

To mark this year's proposal anniversary, Kloots treated herself to a manicure day, sharing the finished look with her followers via her Instagram Story The 41-year-old opened for short, minimalist nails with nude polish and a blue amulet eye drawn on her ring finger.

Her middle and fourth fingers were adorned with fancy gold rings, as she wrote in the text overlay, "Did a little tribute manicure."

Judging by the throwback story she recently shared about the day Cordero popped the life-changing question, the nails were a perfect tribute. According to the TV personality's March 21st Instagram post, she was unaware of his intentions and could not make attempts to look "better."

"Six years ago on this day Nick proposed to me in Hudson, NY and THIS was my manicure! 😬🤪🧿🙈 Clearly I had no idea he was going to give me a ring," the "Good Vibrations" star quipped in the caption.

The manicure, which was front and center in the photo accompanying the caption, featured nude-colored nails with eyeballs drawn at the bottom of each finger. Despite that flop, Kloots and her man looked beyond happy as they stood close and smiled brightly at the camera.

The "Young Frankenstein" actress donned a gray sweater over a flannel shirt matching her then-fiancé's blue flannel shirt. As for the engagement ring, Cordero opted for a simple old band with a heart-shaped diamond.

A third user pointed out that the "bad manicure" made the memory "even better." A fourth person, who "never comments" on "celebrities' posts," was moved to gush, "I am so happy you experienced such love with Nick! Your story moved me and everyday you continue to be an example of not only resilience but an amazing way of living and just do life in the best way possible!"

The 'Fit For Christmas' Star Gets Candid About Dealing With Grief

In January, The Blast noted that Kloots opened up about people's expectations of her grieving process, especially after her mother-in-law, Lesley, died. The fitness instructor revealed that a critic sent her a direct message asking her to stop dancing and focus on mourning the Cordero matriarch.

Instead of responding directly to the troll, the Ohio native dropped a clip that showed her — amongst a cross-section of other people — taking choreography lessons from Ryan Heffington. Taking to the caption, she shared that she was scolded for "working out and teaching fitness" the day after her mother-in-law's passing.

After highlighting that that would not be the first time a stranger would send her a message "telling me that I'm not grieving to their standards," she educated critics on how she handles grief through dance. The "Dancing with the Stars" contestant further explained what happens when she joined the dance class, writing:

"I put every emotion I had in me into each step- the sadness from loss, the build up from weeks before, the ptsd I was experiencing, the shock, the heaviness and weight of trauma. I took all of it and danced it out in front of a group of people I didn't know. I didn't look in the mirror. I didn't judge myself. I just danced."

Kloots wrapped up with a request for grieving persons to find what helped them and stick with it, ignoring judgment from outsiders.
