Actress Keke Palmer has shared an update about how she's faring with her new status as a mother to her son, Leodis Andrellton Jackson.

Palmer, who announced the birth of her son in February along with her partner Darius Jackson, says that being a mother is the "greatest gig of all."

The actress noted that she's changing into a new being and "will never be the same again," as her bundle of joy has given her a greater sense of purpose.

Palmer went on a stroll with her newborn while taking pictures of the mother-baby bonding time. The "Hustlers" actress took to Instagram to share snaps from their outing with her followers and also used the opportunity to share how she's been faring with her new role as a mother.

In one of the photos, Palmer could be seen smiling at her son, who is tucked into the stroller as she poses against the skyline wearing a brown jacket, blue jeans, and Nike sneakers.

"Took Mookie Mook for a stroll today," she captioned the post before giving an update on her motherhood journey. "Mommy'ing is coming along if you were looking for an update. I have juggled quite a few careers, but this is my greatest gig of all."

She added, "Learning how to balance it all and looking forward to discovering this new person I am becoming. I will never be the same again, but if you thought I was a bad mama jamma before, you can't imagine the greater purpose my son has given my life!"

The Emmy award-winning actress shared photos of her baby, Leodis Andrellton Jackson, whom she welcomed in February with her partner, Darius Jackson.

Palmer joyfully discussed her first 48 hours as a mother while showing off her son in a white beanie and a light-grey onesie.

In another photo she shared, he can be seen sleeping next to a stuffed elephant in a green sweater. She also shared a funny video of herself and her partner taking him home for the first time.

"I'm not hiding the world from my son, I'm hiding my son from the world," she wrote in the caption, then added, "I'm just playing, my baby face is on this slide."

Palmer also noted that she gave birth to her son at a significant time, "Black History Month," and that he has "a name to match."

The actress received positive and hilarious feedback from fans after revealing the name of her child, Leodis Andrellton Jackson.

One wrote on Twitter, saying, "That name sound [sic] like it led a civil rights march." Palmer promptly responded, "It's giving I marched with Martin [Luther King Jr.], purrrr."

"Can't wait for your son to change the world with a name like that," another fan wrote.

 "I feel like he will have Dr in front of his name eventually. He's beautiful and perfect! God bless him," a third fan noted while complimenting the child.

Keke Palmer Partners With Kevin Hart For 'The Backup'

Even with motherhood in the picture, Palmer is still a busy bee. She and Kevin Hart have teamed up to produce a new comedy movie, "The Backup," as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

The "Akeelah and the Bee" actress will both act in and produce the Universal studios-produced movie. Kevin Hart will also produce the film alongside his Chief content officer at banner Hartbeat, Bryan Smiley.

According to the news outlet, the "True Jackson, VP" actress and her mother, Sharon Palmer, will produce the film through her company, Big Boss Entertainment.

The film's plot, written by Chris Brew and Jordan Gouveia, centers on Ben, who wants to marry his childhood friend Alyssa (Palmer), but she has already got engaged to a wealthy billionaire, and she wants Ben to be her best man.

This request pushes him to go to the wedding with his friends in a bid to outshine her fiancé and win her back.
