The daughter of "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice has reached her goal of having 35,000 people sign a petition in an effort to help save her dad Joe Giudice from being deported.

Gia Giudice, 18, launched a petition this week entitled "STOP the Deportation of Joe Giudice." She directed the campaign at President Donald J. Trump, asking him to step in and help her family.

Joe was released earlier this year from prison after serving three years behind bars. He is fighting the deportation back to Italy and is currently appealing it in federal court.

Gia said of her father, "He was found guilty of NON Violent offenses and served his time complying with all prison guidelines and procedures. My mother and father have fought tirelessly to pay back every single penny of restitution to court deemed they owe. They have made a mistake but rectified it through serving time and by finically satisfying all that was owed."

She claims her father knows nothing about Italian culture, laws or societal norms and has no immediate family there.

Gia pleaded for people to sign and sought 35,000 signatures for her petition, which she accomplished early this morning.

Earlier this month, Joe was shut down in his appeal with the Board of Immigration, attempting to reverse the decision to deport him.

Giudice then rushed back to federal court after losing at the hearing and filed his last chance at an appeal this week. He can stay in the country until a final decision is made in his new appeal.
