Opening up to her attorney partner, Robinson, she said, "I knew I was different than my siblings. I prayed for somebody to understand me and not look at me and my flaws and just accept me for who I am. And then I met you. And then I saw every single that I ever prayed for as a child."

Although all the singer initially searched for was love, it dawned on the star that she needed something else. She explained, "I thought that I just needed love. I didn't. I needed a friend. And you've been that for me." Meanwhile, Robinson on the other hand wanted to be more than friends with the four-time Grammy nominee.

He said to her during the proposal, "I'm not only willing, I'm ready. So much so that I don't want to be your friend. I don't want to be your friend. I want to be your husband." The CEO of Rags 2 Riches Logistics then dropped to one knee, adding, "Tamar, I'm here forever because I don't see my life without you. I love you, Tamar. Tamar, will you marry me"?

Seeing as they were about to make a life-changing decision, the singer asked Robinson if he was sure, to which he replied, "absolutely sure."

Overwhelmed by the response, Braxton became teary and nodded "yes' to her future husband. She playfully added, "Now you got to tell my son and my baby daddies."

The dad-of-five who entered "Queen Court" in the first episode bonded with the "Understanding" singer over the loved ones they've lost. The singer's older sister Traci Braxton died in 2022 after battling cancer, and the attorney's mother also died from the same disease.
