Gymnast Nastia Liukin Hits The Pool In Her Green Swimsuit

Gymnast Nastia Liukin is hitting the pool in style!

On Thursday night, the Russian-born former American artist gymnast took to social media to share two photos that featured her in the pool.

In her latest Instagram post, the 33-year-old athlete hit the pool in a striking green bikini that didn't leave much to the imagination. She gave fans a rear view of her outfit, putting her sunned buns on full display as she stood in the crystal-clear water.

Her long blonde hair was tied in a high ponytail to keep it back out of her face as she walked through the water. In the second shot, she gave fans a side view of her outfit as she posed with her eyes closed, adjusting her ponytail with one hand.

In the caption, Nastia wrote, “I *thought* I was getting the perfect little aesthetic morning routine video in my @gigicbikinis… instead all I got was a t-rex claw ??.” Fans were quick to gush over her steamy snaps, with one fan writing, “Such a gorgeous body.”

“SLAYYY,” another follower exclaimed. “Oh yeah!” another fan shared. “This green on you!” another follower gushed. “Holy bod,” another fan wrote. “Please, take a vid of what you eat in a day. We need some inspiration,” another follower requested as fans showered her post in heart-eye and fire emojis.

Unfortunately, it looks like Nastia has no plans to share what she eats in a day, as she recently faced backlash from fans accusing her of suffering from an eating disorder and has been moderating her comments ever since.

The 5’3” athlete has always been on the skinny side due to her gymnastics training, but fans have recently taken things a bit too far and started accusing her of hiding an eating disorder on the fashion posts that she no longer shares with her followers.

Just last month, the five-time Olympic medalist took to Instagram to share a ten-second clip set to the tune of The Cranberries' Hit Song "Dreams." Nastia shared a quick video that showed her getting dressed in her Zara garb, captioning the video, “A wholesome Sunday little fit, all @zara.”

Unfortunately, the video attracted some unwanted attention as users took aim at her appearance. “I am really worried about you. Hope you find the help you need,” another follower chimed in. “This is getting a little crazy girl. Get some help, stat,” another fan commented.

“I love Nastia and have since way before the Olympics but this looks like a body check,” one follower commented. “I know you’ll just delete this or turn off commenting, but as someone who’s struggled for years with an eating disorder myself - you look like you need help. Not suggesting that you have any particular diagnosis, but these posts raise such red flags for me,” another fan shared.

They weren't the only ones who expressed concern for Nastia's well-being. “Getting a little worried about you…” another follower shared. “You’re lovely….but you’re starting to look dangerously thin, hope you’re all right,” another fan added as followers continued to express concern for her health.

“I’m sorry but I’m gonna say it……. You clearly appear to have an eating disorder of some sort and I won’t stand by and let others think it’s ok. I hope you get the help you need,” another follower commented while other users said that they were "unfollowing" her due to her "disordered eating."

However, there were fans that showed support for her fashion videos. “Don’t listen to the haters- you look beautiful- gorgeous skin and hair! You’re obviously in beautiful health- just keep doing you!” one fan commented. “Leave Nastia alone; she’s a naturally thin person,” another follower wrote.

Since then, Nastia has stopped posting fashion videos and has been relatively quiet on Instagram until her pool post. Last month, Nastia shared a video that featured her taking a morning dip in the pool before sharing a snippet of her new workout routine with her followers.
