There's no denying Angelina Jolie loves her kids.

The 45-year-old "Tomb Raider" actress is a mom to six children ranging in age from 19 to 12.

Like any celebrity parent, Jolie has found a way to balance her career along with motherhood. Yet, like many parents, Jolie does have her struggles when it comes to raising kids.

In the past year, Jolie has transitioned into a stay-at-home mom due to the pandemic.

While the pandemic has allowed Jolie to spend more time with her family, she says there are some struggles.

Jolie always wanted to have a big family.

Her journey to motherhood started in March 2002 when she adopted her son Maddox. 

Maddox's adoption came when Jolie was still married to actor Billy Bob Thornton. Three months after the adoption, Jolie and Thornton divorced.

Jolie would then go on to have a high-profile relationship with her "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" co-star Brad Pitt

During the course of their 12 years together, the couple would adopt two more children Zahara and Pax, along with having biological children: Shiloh and twins Knox and Vivienne.

Custody Dispute Between Jolie And Pitt

Since their divorce in 2016, Jolie and Pitt have been locked in a bitter custody battle over their children.

47-year-old Pitt is seeking joint custody, while Jolie wants sole custody.

Pitt's reported alcoholism and his fight with son Maddox on a plane is what led to Jolie filing for divorce.

Although, a previous arrangement was made, which saw Pitt receiving more custodial time with his kids, the legal battle with Jolie is still ongoing.

Since their last hearing in October 2020, no agreement has been reached, and neither side appears to be budging in their dispute.

Coronavirus Pandemic Has Jolie At Home

Like many other people, the coronavirus pandemic has altered the Jolie household.

With the kids being home-schooled and Hollywood shutting down production, Jolie and her kids have been spending more time at home.

Although, Jolie loves spending more time with her kids, she admits she's having trouble adjusting to staying at home.

In an interview with "Vogue" magazine, Jolie confesses that she was "never very good at sitting still." The actress also said that she misses traveling, and always imagined herself as being like Jane Goodall.

Not Cut Out For Being A Stay-At-Home Mom

With Jolie now being a stay-at-home mom due to the pandemic, the star admits she's not cut out for the role.

In her interview with "Vogue," Jolie says she never imagined parenthood going in the traditional sense due to her career and schedule. The star goes on to say that she believe she lacks the skills to be a traditional stay-at-home mom.

Although, Jolie is unsure of her ability to be a stay-at-home mom, she says her children are helping her manage her new routine.
