Kristin Cavallari Checks Off 'Bucket List' After Setting Botox Rumors Straight

Kristin Cavallari is dedicated to living her best life since her split from Jay Cutler. 

Since participating in the hit MTV reality TV series "Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County," the author has created a name for herself, often in the middle of some drama. Recently, fans have suspected that she faded away her wrinkles with the help of Botox.

She soon came clean about the reason behind her healthy-looking skin and shared a picture of an activity she checked off her bucket list.

For those who have been longtime followers and fans of Cavallari, it has become the norm for them to get updates on the "big moments" of her life. Thus, they were unsurprised when the reality TV star recently informed them that she did something that has always been her dream — visit the northern lights.

The northern lights — or the aurora borealis, which are pretty dancing waves of light, have captivated people, including the 36-year-old, for millennia. She showed off her excitement at finally catching them on Instagram with two images — the first being her posing with hair colorist Justin Anderson and model Austin Rhodes.

While she draped a brown fur-like jacket over an all-black outfit, Rhodes wore a dark parka, a black t-shirt, and blue jeans, while Anderson donned a mask, a similarly colored parka, matching bottoms, and a black t-shirt.

The trio huddled close as the northern lights and greenery behind them illuminated the image. A swipe to the left revealed a stand-alone photo of the aurora, snow, star-filled sky, and trees.

"Bucket list moment: THE NORTHERN LIGHTS," Cavallari wrote beneath the stunning snaps captured in Rovaniemi, Finland.

The post quickly accrued 94k likes and hundreds of comments, with one person gushing, "Love! So magical! Can't wait to experience this!! Such a bucket list moment!"

Another fan called the moment "pure magic," and a third commented, "I live in Alaska, and seeing the lights never gets old." A fourth person recalled, "Saw them 5 years ago and still one of the most emotional and surreal moments of my life," while a fifth expressed, "The jealousy in my body right now I can't even explain it. I've always wanted to see this."

Cavallari's "surreal" came on the heels of her admitting that she was not a fan of Botox. The mother-of-three opened up about the medical procedure during a Q&A session on her Instagram Story on Tuesday, March 7, after a fan asked, "Normalize wrinkles!! I hate the pressure to get Botox! What's your secret to smoothing lines?"

Without missing a beat, the "Green Flash" actress replied with a pic of her and her daughter, Saylor James, sharing a kiss, "I couldn't agree [more]. I don't have a secret, it's really just about staying hydrated and using good products."

The "RuPaul's Drag Race" season three guest star explained that she was not bothered by her lines, which fans could see on her forehead. "I'm extremely animated so I would lose a lot of my expression if I got Botox. I'm happier at age 36 than I ever have been and my lines mean I've lived and have experience which I love," she concluded.

The Blast reported in late January that Cavallari shocked fans when she disclosed her disinterest in ever dating an athlete again. 

The disclosure came when the "Project Runway All Stars" season five guest judge Stephen Colletti walked down memory lane of the second season of "Laguna Beach" on their podcast. At one point during the throwback conversation, she stated:

"To be honest, I don't want to say anything I'm going to end up regretting, but I don't think I want to date another athlete. I've done that. I want to leave that in the past."

Despite the unexpectedness of the decision, some fans could see why she would make the statement. Not only did she date an ex-University of Southern California quarterback during her "Laguna Beach" days, but Cutler, her now ex-husband, played professionally for the Chicago Bears. 

The exes walked down the aisle in 2013 and welcomed three children, including Saylor, before the former NFL star filed for divorce in 2020. Although he agreed to share joint custody of the children with Cavallari, their divorce was finalized in June 2022.

She has since been romantically linked to model Taylor Cameron while her ex-husband's love life remains under the radar.
