The gown was paired with a coordinating jacket-like cardigan and shiny brown heels. The fashionista styled her box braids in a low bun and carried a coffee-colored purse. Her look was completed with a soft glam.
As she owned the runaway and basked in her fabulousness, fans could view Dwyane and Union in the front-row seats in all-black ensembles. The proud parents were all smiles when Zaya walked past them. Afterward, the wholesome family was seen warmly embracing each other.
Celebrities, including Viola Davis, Gigi Hadid, and Pat Mcgrathreal, flooded the comment section with heartwarming emojis and kind remarks. One follower complimented the couple, saying, "So thankful to both of you for being supportive and loving to your daughter. I am so proud watching her too!" followed by three heart and fire emojis.
A second fan remarked, "Fashion's Next Supreme!!! So excited for her!!! Thank you for loving your baby out loud, Dwyane & Gabby!" A third follower stated, "I'm crying!!!!! I'm so happy for everyone," while a fourth fan penned, "beautiful moment, perfect debut πππ."
Zaya's runway debut comes a few months after she rang in attention at Miu Miu's spring/summer 2023 show as a guest in October 2022. The Blast noted that the "Bring It On" actress gushed over her stepdaughter's fashion style at the "MiuMiuSS23" runway show for Paris Fashion Week.
The "Bad Boys" star took to her Instagram story to share a significant fashion moment in her step-daughter's life. The picture was captioned, "Leaving no Crumbs," referring to the outfit choice of the teenager.
Zaya wore a cropped denim top and a short plaid pleated skirt. She completed the look with white loafers and a tote bag while her hair was styled in a short, parted, sleek bob-cut. Also, she sported natural-looking makeup.
The next slide showed her in the same outfit with her hands held up daintily in front of her as she gave another edgier look with the addition of dark shades. The caption thanked the famous high-end brand for inviting her to the beautiful event. In addition to cementing her place as fashion's next It Girl, Zaya has motivated many worldwide with her courage and fearlessness.
Gabrielle Union & Dwyane Wade Give Passionate Speech On Black LGBTQ+ Rights
On February 25th, Dwyane and Union were honored with the President's Award at the 54th NAACP Image Awards for their activism on LGBTQ+ issues. Per ELLE, the pair shared an emotional message, praising their kind-hearted daughter, who publicly came out as transgender in 2020.
Dwyane told the crowd, "We stand up here today as two people who have worked tirelessly to have resources and access," He continued, "As two people willing to use our microphones for what we believe and what other families are going through. I'm intentional when I use my platform. I recognize what I have been given, and it is my job to uplift the voices of others and share my access and resources."
Finally, the former athlete directed his words to Zaya, saying, "I've sat back and watched how gracefully you have taken on the public scrutiny. And even though it's not easy, I watched you walk out of the house every morning as yourself. I admire how you handle the ignorance in our worldβ¦that you face every day. To say that your village is proud of you is an understatement."
