Gabrielle Union Shares Funny Reactions To Daughter's Sassy Comment

The sass is strong with Kaavia James. The 4-year-old had no chill when she told her dad, former NBA star Dwayne Wade, "Hey bro, be quiet bro."

Gabrielle Union filmed her daughter explaining what happened and teased her husband for his big game talk. The actress then captured his reaction to the sassy comment, along with his 20-year-old son, Zaire's take on it and explanation of why he can believe she said that.

"What did you say to Daddy?" Union asked Kaavia, who happens to be wearing a t-shirt from The Children's Place's Diversity Tee collection that reads, "I Rule Daddy's Heart." Kaavia dramatically recalls what she said, "I said, 'Hey bro, be quiet bro,'" to her shocked mom who then asks her, "What did daddy think when you said that to him? What was daddy's face, what did it look like?" Kaavia responded with a laugh just like her dad's. When asked if her father laughed, she said yeah and walked off.

Union then turned the camera to herself to mock her husband recalling, "Oh I wish she would say something crazy to me!" She then added, "And you laughed!" before finding her husband to get his reaction on camera.

The video then cuts to Wade, who's standing with his son Zaire, as Union confronted him on how he responded to his little girl's hilarious remarks. "I haven't responded to that," Wade said calmly. Union then asks Zaire, "Can you believe it?" and he hilariously responds, "Oh, I can believe it. Kaav runs the house." Wade let out a good laugh over that thought.

In an attempt to defend his reaction to Kaavia's sassy remark, Wade, who is also dad to Zaya, 15, and Xavier, 9, adds, "I definitely thought about the kids though. I was like, 'What would I have done if Zaire or Zaya said that?'" Zaire jumped in to make it known, "We didn't run the house."

Union shared the funny reel on Instagram captioning it, "We thought we had a plan for when @kaaviajames reallllllly TRIED IT. Cut to @dwyanewade ???‍♀️ meanwhile, me and @zaire are still in shock over here. Parents tap in. #Toddler"

Ziare added a comment, "I'm just glad to be here???" The Children's Place dropped into the comments to leave their thoughts on Kaavia's shirt saying, "The outfit just makes this story 10x funnier. ??"

Many of her followers also had something to say about the fun video in the comment section. "But you see what her t-shirt says. there are no surprises here," one person wrote. Another added, "This is a perfect story start to finish. ???"

One follower pointed out that Kaavia nailed her father's laugh. "But the funny thing is when, she imitated him and you asked him what did he say, he burst out laughing the exact same way she described it ??????????"

Some followers could relate to the toddler's hilarious sass. "See the baby girls get away with everything. My five year old told me to hold on a minute she watching YouTube. I was stunned for a minute," one person added to the comments. Another said, "It’s something about the baby that throws you off. My 6yo definitely has secretly been in control the WHOLE ??."
