Singer Britney Spears is reflecting on her meditation practices and the meaning of enlightenment in her latest social media reflection.
On Tuesday night, the 41-year-old pop star took to Instagram to share a quote from Sri Ravi Shankar to talk about her meditation practice and the importance of self-love.
Britney Spears Turns Comments Back ON For A Post About Enlightenment And Self-Love!
On Tuesday night, the “Hold Me Closer” singer took to Instagram to share a quote by Sri Ravi Shankar, which read, “Meditation is the journey from sound to silence, from movement to stillness, from a limited identity to unlimited space.”
“This quote really resonated with me !!!” Britney wrote in the caption. “The world can be so loud at times !!! When I meditate in silence, I become the most enlightened 🧘🏼♀️ !!! Everything seems to be more clear and my mind feels still.”
“Enlightenment to me is higher consciousness … which I personally think brings me closer to God or some say connected to the universe 🌎 !!!” she explained. “I choose not to speak on religion because most get offended when others discuss their beliefs …. I’m just sharing my passion for meditation cause it’s simply changed my life the past few years !!!”
“I breathe deeper and I have a more caring attitude towards others and myself. Learning self-love is one of life’s most beautiful treasures !!!!” she went on. “Sometimes the world can be pretty d*mn cruel … finding strength through meditation and prayer has changed my life. I want to share this because I simply care … have a blessed day 🌷🌷🌷 !!!!”
Over an hour after the post went up, Britney disabled the comments on her post and all aforementioned comments disappeared.
Britney’s Fans Love Her Positive Post: ‘We Love When You Share’
Although she has turned off comments on most of her recent Instagram posts, it took her a few minutes before she turned them off on her latest post. “Hope all is well,” one fan commented. “Beautifully said,” another follower agreed. “We love you, Britney!” a third fan chimed in.
“You are so loved, you’re a legend and deserve the peace you invite in. Don’t worry about the people who choose to hate themselves through you. Their opinion is not your reality,” another follower wrote. “We love when you share. Thank you, Britney,” another fan wrote. “You are a queen and we are always rooting for you,” another follower chimed in.
“Thank you for wisdom! It’s a blessing you still desire to express yourself to us, despite giving us all so much already. I know some of the world is very hard on you, but know that many people love you very much !!” another follower commented.
“We love you, Britney! So happy you found something that works for you and that makes you happy and at peace! That is all we want for you!! You deserve that and so much more!” another fan added. “Banfield” host Ashleigh Banfield commented, “Glad to see you’ve taken up meditating. It’s sooo good for you!”

On Tuesday night, Britney shared three more Instagram posts after her commentary on enlightenment. In the first post, the “Toxic” singer shared a photo dump of her posing in a long-sleeve white pink top and a white skirt.
She shared several photos that featured her posing in various positions. She captioned this Instagram post, “TB screenshots of a bright video 🌹 !!!” Comments for this post were turned off.
In her second Instagram post, set to the tune of Salt-N-Pepa’s “Whatta Man” featuring “En Vogue,” Britney moves around in front of the camera in a strapless green dress.
In the caption, she wrote, “When me and my girls would go out it was like the blind leading the blind 😂 … like in the movie Bridesmaids 💕🦄💕🦄🙄 …” She then quoted, “Officer if I was drunk do you think I could do this ???”
