T.J. Holmes & Amy Robach Spotted On Official Couple Outing At Memorial Service After Mexico Baecation

Fresh off their Mexican PDA-packed getaway, Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes attended their first event together as a couple to pay their last respects to the late crisis PR guru and activist Howard Bagman.

The pair reportedly "seemed extremely happy" and donned a friendly countenance while interacting with people at the event. It was also claimed that the duo "were definitely attentive and aware of each other" despite being in the public eye.

Since being fired by ABC due to their scandalous affair, Holmes and Robach have remained unemployed and have yet to share the next steps for their careers.

According to a Page Six report, Holmes and Robach were in attendance at the star-studded memorial service of Bragman held at a private park in North Hollywood, Calif.

The appearance marked the couple's first public event together since their scandalous affair made the headlines late last year.

The publication stated that the duo, who were recently fired from ABC News, a company which the deceased once consulted for, "arrived maybe 10 to 15 minutes" before the star-studded ceremony began.

A source said about their demeanor, "they seemed extremely happy and greeted everyone with warm smiles. They were extremely friendly with everyone."

They noted that while the pair's appearance raised eyebrows, Holmes and Robach gave off sensual vibes that suggested they were in love.

The source continued, "There was something electric. They seemed like a couple, who were obviously in love. They were definitely attentive and aware of each other."

Another attendee at the ceremony expressed shock that the two were in LA, given they were recently photographed vacationing in Mexico.

"I couldn't believe it was them! I didn't even know they were in LA," the Page Six source said before noting that the two did not seem out of place and were extremely comfortable with each other.

"They looked like… they weren't inappropriate, but she was in this wrap dress that was very short, and they just looked like this hot couple. There was no shame in their game," the source added.

To complement Robach's outfit, Holmes donned a navy suit, in line with the dress code of the memorial service, which was tagged "fabulous, business casual."

Holmes and Robach have remained unemployed since they were let go by ABC after their scandalous affair caused a media storm.

The network took the decision after conducting an internal review of the duo's conduct. As part of the dismissal process, Robach and Holmes were issued a statement noting that the decision was best for both parties.

"After several productive conversations with Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes about different options, we all agreed it's best for everyone that they move on from ABC News," the statement read per Page Six.

The duo reportedly received a huge payout as part of their severance package. This was allegedly done to forestall "massive and perhaps grisly rumblings of dissatisfaction."

"[It] sets them up and their agents to begin to have discussions and to consider a range of options," a source said at the time, per The Sun.

The insider added, "That would include another network, local opportunities, and potentially more entrepreneurial pursuits that might be self-funded and using platforms that are not mainstream but can gather significant following and monetization."

News of the pair's scandalous romance came to light in November in the wake of several photos of the duo getting cozy during various outings making the headlines. At the time, the pair were still legally married to their former partners, which led to a severe backlash against them.

Holmes later filed for divorce from his wife of 13 years, Maralee Fiebig, while Robach's divorce from husband Andrew Shue is almost finalized.

The couple has continued to display their love for one another in front of the public despite the backlash they have received and their lack of employment. Most recently, they were seen packing on the PDA, drinking beers, and sunning by the poolside while on vacation in Mexico.
