Now that Zach Shallcrosss‘s season of “The Bachelor” is more than halfway over, many members of Bachelor Nation are looking forward to the next season of "The Bachelorette", wondering who will be the next lead.
With many contenders from Shallcross's season, as well as past contestants from other seasons, there are many female leads the show could choose to be the next "Bachelorette".
Although fans do not yet know who ends up with Shallcross at the end of his season, long-time Bachelor Nation insider Reality Steve is now reporting that ABC has already picked out the next lead.
Spoiler Warning Ahead...
Who Is The Next "Bachelorette" Lead?
According to Reality Steve, ABC has chosen fan-favorite Charity Lawson as the next lead for "The Bachelorette".
"(SPOILER): Your next “Bachelorette” is going to be… Charity Lawson," Reality Steve Tweeted before adding, "Nothing is ever final until ABC officially announces it, but from everything I’m hearing it’s going to be Charity. I would expect this announcement to be made sometime in the next few weeks."
The child and family therapist from Columbus, Georgia has quickly become a front-runner on this season of “The Bachelor” after she built an immediate connection with lead Zach Shallcross. However, many reports have stated that Lawson will be eliminated before the Fantasy Suite dates, meaning the show could possibly announce her as the next "Bachelorette" as early as the Women Tell All episode. The show could also wait to announce her as the lead during the After the Final Rose segment following the "Bachelor" finale.
More On Charity Lawson
When introducing the women of Zach Shallcross’s season, host Jessie Palmer said, “It’s easy to see what makes Charity such a great catch! With a smile that lights up the room, a great career and a sweet personality to match, Charity is the total package!”
Palmer continued to describe the child and family therapist from Columbus, Georgia as a loving and caring individual, saying, “The Georgia beauty takes her name as a call to love and care for people and has built her life on that purpose. Charity is a mental health therapist and is extremely passionate about helping people live their best lives.”
He continued, “Now, she is ready to receive the love she gives to so many others! Charity hopes her future husband is honest, loyal and shares similar morals. She says she is really excited to meet Zach and thinks the two of them could be a perfect match on paper. Time will tell if they’re also a perfect match in person!”
Lawson and Shallcross just went on their first one-on-one date two weeks ago, allowing Bachelor Nation to get to know the child and family therapist a bit better as she showed her personality and opened up to Shallcross more. Although their connection seems strong, reports have stated she will be eliminated after Hometowns and before the Fantasy Suites.
Zach Shallcross’s season of “The Bachelor” continues Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. The episodes are available to stream the following day on Hulu.
