Simone Biles Celebrates Breaking Ground With Fiancé On New Property: 'Love & Dreams'

Simone Biles is taking another step closer to her future with fiancé Jonathan Owens!

The artistic gymnast has been living on cloud nine since the NFL star popped the big question last February. Thanks to the Olympic gold medalist's open nature, fans have been updated about their wedding plans every step of the way.

Although the lovebirds did not share the date of their upcoming nuptials, the power couple is actively preparing for their cohabitation. The star athlete recently revealed that the pair had established the foundation for the new home.

Biles and Owens have their hands full as the soon-to-be newlyweds are shuffling their wedding plans with building their matrimonial habitat. In the spirit of new beginnings, the couple purchased a property in a secluded area, as seen in the gymnast's Instagram update.

The three-slide post featured a picture of the couple posing together at the excavated property. Several trees had been cleared away to give way to an empty part of the serene area, which was surrounded by tall trees.

Dressed in a purple tracksuit, the 25-year-old pouted at the camera while her beau wrapped his arms around her neck as he kissed her earlobe. The second image showed Owens backing the camera as he stared at the horizon, probably looking at the lake near the property.

On closer inspection, a house could be seen on the other side of the water body, while the third snap showed the excavated space. The dug-up roots could be seen piled up on one side while other trees stood tall.

Given the number of greenery enveloping the area and the lack of neighbors in the pictures, it was safe to say that the couple would not have to worry about their privacy. The sweet post was captioned: "a home is made with love & dreams. Cheers to breaking ground."

Following the touching upload, fans excitedly flooded the comment section with the groom-to-be leading the sweet messages. "So excited!!!!" the NFL player penned, emphasizing his love with a red heart emoji.

Elaine Welteroth, a renowned journalist, shared similar sentiments by writing, "Love this stage of life for you," while retired gymnast McKenna Lane Kelley gushed, "congrats to the Owens!"

Other fans shared their congratulations and well wishes for the couple, while some praised the pair for sharing their special moments with fans. "I love when people do [this] because it's a whole journey for the followers too, lol," an Instagram user noted.

Last month, the Presidential Medal of Freedom honoree updated fans as she celebrated her bachelorette party. Per The Blast, the star gymnast shared a cute picture of her gift-wrapped hotel bed on Instagram.

In the picture, the bride-to-be donned a white shirt designed with the words "Bride and Boujee" written in black and gold. The ceiling was similarly decorated with floating gold and white balloons while giant gold balloons spelled the word "BRIDE" on the bed.

There were also various gift bags placed on the bed as well as a sash that read: "Future Mrs. Owens" written in gold. On her Instagram Stories, Biles revealed that she traveled to an undisclosed tropical resort with her female friends.

Although Owens could not be part of the girls' trip, the Houston Texans' football safety ensured his fiancée would not forget about him. The charming groom-to-be sent his wife a Chanel bag that matched the bachelorette party's gold and white theme.

As we await the union of Biles and Owens, the adorable pair continue to serve fans couple goals with their blossoming romance. The Blast previously reported that the dynamic duo could not wait to exchange wedding rings, so they bought a matching set.

In an Instagram Story update, the People's Choice Award winner revealed that the lovebirds added a new luxury item to their jewelry collection. The short video flaunted the athlete's manicured nails grazing the top of two ring boxes from the Rockford Collection.

The luxury brand sent two matching rings. The male version featured a black ring base with diamonds encrusted at the top, while the feminine pair followed a similar design with a silver foundation.

"These beautiful rings/Jonathan’s workout ring," the Texas Women's Hall of Fame inductee captioned the cute video. Additionally, the artistic gymnast shared sweet pictures of the power couple rocking their matching accessories.
