Brownlee has not announced the baby's name yet and won't likely share a photo of his face anytime too soon. In a third-trimester Q&A video on YouTube, she said plans to wait to share a full photo of her baby.
"I don't want to show my baby's face at first when he's born until I feel ready to. Maybe in a couple of months after he's born, I will feel like I'm ready," she explained.
"But it's honestly it is down to me completely, whatever I want to do is completely my decision, as I'm sure a lot of people will understand. But at first, no I'm not going to be showing the face. I will definitely show him in a video but I won't be purposely trying to show his face."
Sophia Grace Brownlee Shared The News Of Her Pregnancy In October
Brownlee announced her big news in a YouTube video as she was surrounded by pink and blue balloons. She waited until the midway point of her pregnancy to share her news because she wanted to make sure everything was going well.
"I am here to tell you guys that I am pregnant. So I am 21 weeks today, and the reason why I left it so long is because I always want to make sure that everything's completely fine and that everything's safe," she said.
"So I decided to wait till this time to tell everyone because I thought that 20 weeks is like definitely safe and I have my 20-week scan and everything was fine, thank God."
She told her fans and followers that she was shocked when she first found out she was pregnant, but once she got used to it, she was "super, super happy about it." And not only was being pregnant a new experience for her, but she anticipated some changes in her usual social media content.
"And I can't wait to share this journey with you guys and definitely have a lot of different content from what I usually have," she said. "I guess my channel might turn into something new, so I'm super excited."
When she announced her pregnancy, she already knew the baby's gender but didn't want to share that right away. She did end up sharing her gender reveal on YouTube, when everyone got to see that she was having a baby boy.
