Jennifer Lawrence Sustains Eyelid Injury While Shooting A Netflix Movie Scene

While shooting a scene for an upcoming Netflix original comedy movie, "Don't Look Up," American actress Jennifer Lawrence got hurt. She is popularly known for her role as Katniss Everdeen in the American Sci-fi and action movie, "The Hunger Games."
The shoot of the upcoming movie which is being directed by American film director, Adam McKay is currently in Boston, and sources say that the incident that took place caused the production to be closed for the day.

Don't Look Up!!!
"Don't look up" as earlier stated, is an upcoming American political comedy written and directed by Adam Mckay.
The movie stars top actors and actress including the famous Titanic star Leonardo DiCaprio who was spotted with a new look while shooting a scene for the movie.
American singer, actress and songwriter Ariana Grande also featured in the movie and fans are really looking forward to the film.

What Caused The Mishap During Filming?
Accidents are sure to happen to actors during filming, and a times such accidents are due to common mistakes.
The incident that led to Lawrence getting hurt was actually part of the shoot but unfortunately, the situation got out of hand.
On February 5, 2021, at about 1am, Lawrence sat in a restaurant with co-star Timothee Chalamet prepared to film a planned window explosion scene. Sadly, things did not go as planned, as a piece of glass hit Lawrence's eyelid and left her with a cut.
Jennifer Lawrence Is Recovering Swiftly
Fortunately, Lawrence is doing fine and is said to be healing from the experience. A source said that she was bleeding severely, but did not sustain serious injuries.
The scene tried to capture a special effect, which showed a trash can, thrown through the window, but the event led to shards of glass landing on Lawrence's eyelid.
Howbeit, we are glad that it was nothing serious and hope that such accidents do not occur in the future.
As regards the production, it was reportedly cut off for the day after the incident.
