Singer Britney Spears took to Instagram on Saturday night to share a birthday message for her husband, Iranian actor Sam Asghari.
The couple first met on the set of her “Slumber Party” music video in 2016 and tied the knot in June 2022.
Britney Spears Wishes Husband Sam Asghari A Happy Birthday: ‘I Love You So Much’
On Saturday night, the 41-year-old pop star took to Instagram to share three photos of her posing beside her husband.
In the caption, Britney wrote, “Happy Birthday 🎂!!! I love you so much and hope you get all your birthday wishes and more🌹 !!!”
However, the “Hold Me Closer” singer deleted her Instagram post a few minutes after it went up. Fans were confused why Britney would pose a birthday message for her husband and then delete it so quickly.
Fortunately, the post went back up about ten minutes later. The caption was the same, but it looks like Britney forgot a photo that she wanted to include in her Instagram carousel.
Britney Deleted Her Birthday Message And Reposted It With Another Photo!
In her new Instagram post, Britney included a photo of her standing side by side with Sam in front of rolling green hills. The two are both wearing sunglasses as they stand side by side, with Sam’s arm around Britney’s shoulders.
The two have been through a lot together. After Britney’s conservatorship ended in November 2021, Britney revealed that she was pregnant in April 2022. Unfortunately, in May, she revealed that they had lost their “miracle baby early in the pregnancy.”
“Our love for each other is our strength,” their joint statement said. “We will continue trying to expand our beautiful family. We are grateful for all of your support. We kindly ask for privacy during this difficult moment.”
The two then tied the knot about a month later in the backyard of her home in Thousand Oaks, California. The star-studded event was attended by celebrities like Paris Hilton, Selena Gomez, and more.
Sam Asghari Is ‘Grateful For The Opportunity Called Life’
On Saturday afternoon, the former personal fitness trainer also took to Instagram to share a black-and-white photo of himself kneeling in a field. In the caption, Sam wrote, “Another trip around the ☀️ grateful for the opportunity called life. chapter 29 page 1…..”
Many fans also took to Instagram to wish him a happy birthday. Britney has disabled comments on her Instagram post since the start of the new year, but Sam still has his comments turned on for select posts.
“Happy birthday Sam! What a wonderful man you are! You are an absolutely wonderful person who has a beautiful soul,” one fan commented. “You make this world a better place and set an example of what a real man should be like! Wishing you all wonderful things in life! Be forever blessed together with Britney.”
“Wow, didn’t realize how much younger you are than Brit! Happy birthday,” another follower wrote. Sam just turned 29, while Britney turned 41 last December. Another user commented, “You def don’t look 29, you look much older. Handsome, nonetheless…must be because you are married to a celebrity who is under a microscope 24/7. Hope it is worth it!”
“Happy Happy Birthday Sam! May all your wishes, and dreams come true because you deserve it so much! May 2023 be your best year yet!” another follower chimed in. “Happy Birthday, Hesam! May all your dreams come true, wish you the best. Thank you for making the lioness. PS: Wow, I always forget you’re younger than us, her rock fans,” another user shared.
Unfortunately, not all of the comments on his post were positive. Last summer, Britney’s ex-husband Kevin Federline said that Britney hasn’t seen her sons in a few months. K-Fed blamed it on her NSFW Instagram posts, but some fans have speculated that her relationship with Sam is actually why Britney hasn’t seen her children.
“Everybody is in denial because they think Sam is so hot looking NOT he’s such a snake you can see it in his eyes!!!” one user claimed. “Come on that’s why she’s not able to see her sons. Somethings not right wake up.”
