Heather Rae El Moussa Learning To ‘Balance It All’ In New Mommyhood

Heather Rae El Moussa has marked her first milestone as a mother!

Since she welcomed her first child with her husband, Tarek El Moussa, the reality star has been over the moon, constantly sharing updates on "new mommyhood" with her fans and followers. In her latest update, the mother-of-one shared her plans for handling her life and career while celebrating her baby's first month anniversary.

From telling her followers when she became pregnant to sharing intimate looks at the nursery and the baby's name, Heather has remained honest and open about that part of her life. The "Selling Sunset" star continued in that role, uploading two sweet pictures that showed her holding her baby boy, Tristan Jay.

In the first image, the doting mother looked straight at the camera, holding a wide-eyed Tristan in her arms. A swipe to the left showed Heather smothering her son — still wide-eyed — with a kiss on his temple.

For the snaps, the real estate agent wore a gray long-sleeved top, black bottoms, and a white cloth on her shoulder to protect her clothes from Tristan's vomit. Heather wrote:

"Last day of February and it's been a month of love, mamahood adjustments, work days from home, breastfeeding ups & downs, the best newborn snuggles, sleepless nights & lots and lots of family time."

She noted that while February was good to her family, she had a "good feeling" about March since "the Flipping El Moussas premiere on March 2nd (ah!!!!)." Until then, the 35-year-old was more focused on "trying to balance it all." 

Even though she did not ask for it, several people opted to share some "solid advice" with her in the comment section. "adorable. don't over do it. work can wait spend this time with him. this time passes so fast enjoy every moment of it," one person commented.

A second person screamed, "Don't balance it! Be a mom! Nothing else is important!" A third commenter encouraged Heather to ask for help without feeling ashamed, and a fourth told her to take six months maternity leave "at least!" 

"From one realtor mom to another, you got this!!!!! It's so hard in the beginning trying to find your footing; however once you do, it's just like riding a bike!" another fan wrote.

Heather followed the post up with an Instagram Story featuring Tristan in a onesie and a text overlay reading, "Hi guys I'm one month Old today!!!!" The "Love in the Time of Machines" actress' celebratory posts come just weeks after she told her followers what being a new mom meant for her.

As reported by The Blast, she uploaded a 20-second video to her Instagram Story, stating, "So I have been a little out of commission because I've been busy with a little angel baby boy and just getting used to new mommyhood." 

Heather detailed that even though she was "bummed" about not being with Tarek at "a reveal today for one of our houses for 'Flipping El Moussas' and one of our flips," there was nowhere else she wanted to be "than with my little love today."

The Blast reported last month that Heather and Tarek put out a joint post featuring a promo clip of the upcoming "The Flipping El Moussas." The Instagram update, which revealed that viewers would fully see their lives, also unwrapped some new — and old — information about the series. 

"You can expect big BIG things from bigger flips, bigger budgets, bigger business moves, bigger... bellies," the twosome goofed in the caption before adding:

"Being able to work together has been a dream of ours since we got together. We would always talk about how amazing it would be to combine our expertise and now, it's here!! We learn from each other, we laugh at & with each other, and we get better and better with every flip!"

As expected, the couple's statement elicited applause from their fans, with many dropping commentary about the HGTV project. While one person claimed that the show would be "awesome," another commented that Heather and Tarek did an excellent job with the designs seen in the promo trailer.
