Tarek El Moussa Recalls Early Flipping Days As 'Flipping El Moussas' Premiere Nears

Tarek El Moussa remembers his humble beginnings!

The star, a well-known American real estate investor, first gained widespread fame as the co-star of the popular HGTV reality show "Flip or Flop" alongside his ex-wife Christina Hall. After their divorce, he continued to host the show independently, with Hall now starring in her own series. 

The television personality also founded the real estate investment company "Tarek and Associates," which specializes in buying and flipping distressed properties. With the premiere of his latest show just around the corner, he took to his Instagram page to reflect on his early days as a house flipper. 

The first slide was a throwback image of the father-of-three standing in front of a building holding a board with "Open House" written on it. The following slides showed how far he had come in his career and personal life. In the lengthy upload, he partly wrote:

"You guys have seen me through it all: When I first started on HGTV, I was just a kid trying to figure out how to flip houses and support my family. I had no IDEA what the next decade had in store for me."

He mentioned his gratitude for his fans' support throughout his journey and noted that he was now the happiest in his life. The entrepreneur pointed out his achievements, including the fact that he was now a lot more comfortable, a proud father to his three kids, and owned many companies. 

He promised viewers a thrilling ride on the new show and disclosed that it would feature bigger flips, his family life, and more. The 41-year-old added where they could watch the series before concluding with:

"Shoutout to all of the people in this community who have been on this journey with me- I can't wait for you to be a part of this new chapter!!!" 

His post excited his fans, judging by some of the comments they wrote underneath, like, "I've been with you from the beginning, and I'm still here for the long haul!!! Congratulations to you and @heatherraeelmoussa on the arrival of Tristan! And a huge congrats on the new show! I'll be watching! ?❤️?." 

A follower noted, "of course, we are gonna watch," while another gushed, "Congratulations Tarek! ❤️ I'm so happy for you and your family." A fourth person stated, "Will definitely be tuning in!"

Earlier, the house-flipping couple had kept fans on edge by not unveiling the premiere date. The Blast reported that they had bagged the show since early 2020 but decided to let it stew a bit.

In a joint Instagram post, the love birds released a clip that contained scenes from the coming show, and from the looks of things, it promises to be worth the wait. In their statement, they wrote, "Within the last 3 1/2 years, we got married, we got pregnant, AND Heather joined the family flipping business…."

They revealed the date and noted that working together had always been something they wanted to do. They also mentioned the recordings had to be around their busy schedules with filming their other projects. 

The reality stars have been in the spotlight for years as individuals before becoming a beloved couple. With Tarek already a father to two children from his previous marriage, and Heather, a first-time mom, the couple has opened up about their parenting style and who takes on the stricter role.

The Blast shared that since welcoming their son, Tristan, they have been over the moon and frequently dishing out updates on their newborn. They opened up to Today with the former model saying obsessed she was with her baby before admitting that being a new mother was hard but beautiful.

Her beau also pointed out Tristan's "big personality" and active nature while complimenting his wife on being a rock star. On balancing their parenting styles, he said:

"Heather is stricter than me, for sure. I play games and wrestle with the kids. When she says, 'OK, it's bedtime,' I'm like, 'OK, five more minutes!' But then, I will enforce her rules."

The actress agreed and added that she was much more rigid with their schedules, keeping them all on track and in order.
