Dove Cameron Reveals BTS Moments with Fred Armisen & Alan Cumming for 'Schmigadoon!'

Disney star Dove Cameron is expanding her acting talents far beyond the House of Mouse and appears to be wrapping up an upcoming project with Apple TV+ that includes some major star power. The "Descendents" star took to Instagram early Sunday morning and shared a photo dump of shots collected over the past three months as she took part in filming a new musical series for AppleTV+, titled "Schmigadoon!," that includes A-list names like Fred Armisen, Alan Cumming, Kristin Chenoweth and Keegan-Michael Key.

Sharing the special moments with her over 39 million followers on Instagram, Dove Cameron made it clear how much fun she had while shooting the musical project with the other stars.

"lucky to have spent the last 3 months of 2020 with these tops humans," 25-year-old Cameron wrote.

She added, "can you tell i love them so much !!! can’t wait for you all to see our little show thing !!"

Along with Fred Armisen and Alan Cumming, the upcoming AppleTV+ series also stars "SNL" veteran Cecily Strong. The name for "Schimagdoon!" had previously been unreleased, until earlier this month when it was finally revealed along with a concept summary:

"Borrowing the title and concept from Broadway musical “Brigadoon,” this upcoming series follows a couple that discovers a small town named Schmigadoon, where the citizens act as if they exist in a musical, Variety wrote.

They added, "The couple finds themselves stuck in town until they find true love."

Dove Cameron recently shared with fans about how grateful she is for the love and support, especially as she ventures into new art forms in her career and emotionally opens up to her fans while trying new things.
