Meghan McCain & Husband Ben Domenech Enjoy Date Night After Welcoming 2nd Daughter

Meghan McCain and her husband, Ben Domenech, treated themselves to a special night.

The McCain family got bigger earlier this year with the addition of one adorable baby girl, making them a beautiful family of four. However, the couple recently went on a date night a month after the child's arrival. 

The 38-year-old shared a picture of their outing on Instagram. The post showed the blonde beauty and her beau rocking black outfits as they cuddled each other. 

McCain styled her blonde hair into a bun in the selfie and pouted her lips while donning a black outfit. Her makeup was casual and fitting for the occasion. Meanwhile, her bearded hubby, who embraced her from behind, just smiled at the camera.

The social media post had a befitting caption that read, "Mom and Dad," and was surged with numerous congratulatory comments by supporters. One fan wrote, "I'm so happy for the two of you and your beautiful girls too." Another person accompanied their message with nine heart emojis, writing, "Congratulations, one and all on your newest arrival! May you all enjoy healthy and happy lives together."

A third commentator wrote, "You are both great parents to two beautiful girls, but never forget you were Meghan & Ben first! ❤️,” while a fourth user wrote "Great couple." Day out for the loving parent comes after the former "Outnumbered" co-host shared her feelings about the pressures placed on women to lose weight rapidly after childbirth.

The mother of two revealed that she was advised to take Ozempic to lose the extra baby weight. The drug, originally prescribed for people with diabetes, has since become a go-to for influencers for weight loss. 

The diplomat's daughter described the epidemic drug use in an op-ed piece for DailyMail titled, "I just gave birth and I'm being urged to take a 'miracle shot' of Ozempic as a quick fix … It's horrifying, unfair and disturbing — and I refuse." 

She began by mentioning how people asked her to take Ozempic "four weeks" after she welcomed her baby. The public figure further explained, "a craze sweeping the nation" in the form of a "new 'miracle' drug" that "can just melt the pounds away" for "a cool $1,000 a pop." The hit piece called attention to a few celebrities allegedly interacting with the drug, including businessman Elon Musk, reality star Kyle Richards, and comedian Chelsea Handler.

The author claimed she was shocked that "casual friends" and "industry acquaintances" queried her about using it since she was not one of the "people who legitimately struggle with obesity and need Ozempic." 

However, the GLAAD Media Award nominee boldly stated, "Well, let me make one thing very clear. I'm not taking it. I refuse. There's a clear moral issue here. It's hard to take a drug because swimsuit season is around the corner, while others need it to stay alive. And how can this be healthy?"

At some point in the piece, the former "The View" star wrote about the adverse effects the drug would have on her daughters' lives and their views on beauty. "This is not the world I want for them, and not the world I want for myself," McCain penned before concluding,

"As for Ozempic, I would rather have a few extra pounds than shoot myself up with medicine. There ain't nothing worth having that is easy to get. And that goes for my health and the health of my girls."

In late January the DailyMail columnist welcomed her second bundle of joy and shared the first look of their tiny tot and revealed her beautiful name. She shared a carousel of photographs on Instagram. One photo showed her older daughter Liberty, whose blonde hair was styled in a two-ponytail, dotingly watching her baby sister rest. 

The family of four was featured in the next slide with Domenech carrying his baby girls in his arms; the two-year-old sat on his lap while he safely swaddled in his other arm. 

On the other hand, McCain wore purple pajamas as she gazed down at her gorgeous family. The remaining pictures showed a solo shot of the new child and a loving moment that McCain's mom shared with her granddaughter.

The former "Daily Beast" writer captioned the post, writing, "We are overjoyed to welcome our new daughter Clover Jade McCain Domenech on Thursday morning," she continued, "Thank you all for the well wishes – we are all blissed out happy, healthy and exhausted! ♥️?.”
