Peta Murgatroyd Channels Inner Rihanna With Help From Husband And Son

Peta Murgatroyd has channeled her inner Rihanna!

The dancer seemed to be in high spirits as she mimicked some parts of the singer's Super Bowl LVII performance alongside her husband, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, and their son, Shai Aleksander. The showdown was made even more memorable thanks to Murgatroyd's noticeable bump for her second baby with Chmerkovskiy.

Murgatroyd is no stranger to bursting out a dance move or two on social media, having shared a few posts of her and Chmerkovskiy dancing with their son. In their latest video, the trio opted to perform bits of Rihanna's "B**ch Better Have My Money" from the Super Bowl Halftime Show.

For their dance, the family decked out in loose clothes, with the expectant mother lifting parts of her oversized tracksuit top to show off her growing belly. The "Dancing with the Stars" contestant held a mic in her hand, singing her heart out while her husband and their son danced in front.

The twosome, who wore a matching set that included an oversized hoodie top, socks, and sunglasses, was dedicated to the highly-entertaining routine with their dance steps. The clip ended with Chmerkovskiy pulling their six-year-old away from the camera's view. Beneath the footage, Murgatroyd wrote:

"We just couldn't help it! Shai stole the show and @petamurgatroyd lived her best life! By the way, if you REALLY know @maksime you know that @badgalriri have been his secret crush since "Umbrella.""

The 36-year-old also asked her followers which "#Riri song is Maks and Peta's favorite and was a must at their wedding?" Although they did not need the question to encourage their comments, Murgatroyd's fans were eager to praise her family for their talents. 

"Y'all thought u could just post a clip from the real halftime show and we wouldn't notice," one person commented. Another fan said they loved the dance, and a third complimented, "Btw, great job guys!! Shai is such a cutie. Maks found no correction, helped create his competition for the spotlight."

A fourth fan admitted, "It looks like you all have the best family that enjoys having a great time in life. I am so happy you were able to get pregnant again." Others guessed Murgatroyd and Chmerkovskiy's favorite Rihanna song, listing "Love on the Brain" and "We Found Love" as the top contenders.

The time fans started to enjoy such a great show was two weeks ago when the professional Latin dancer dropped a video of herself and her husband dancing to Big Boss Vette's song, "Pretty Girls Walk."

For the record, she wore a beige crop top, black baggy pants, and matching sports shoes, per The Blast. Her husband matched her outfit with a black T-shirt, joggers, and a teal cap. Murgatroyd wrote in the caption:

"Oh we're in it! Finally!!! Come on!!! 1) It's funny that we waited until @petamurgatroyd is fully pregnant to start dancing here, [pregnant woman emoji. 2) If you know @maksimc you know he REALLY did NOT want to be part of this, but if you actually know him you'll be able to see the exact move that changed his mind."

After getting over a million plays, the post received over 100k likes and thousands of comments praising the dancing pros for their fantastic work.

The Blast reported that the two-time "DWTS" winner shared an update on her life shortly after she announced the impending arrival of her second child. In one clip uploaded to her Instagram Story, Murgatroyd looked worn out with her blonde left in a mess. 

"I'm not sleeping well at all, and I am highly exhausted," she began before pointing out that the baby kicked from 2 am to 6 am before she quit trying to sleep. The "Burn The Floor" star further expressed her frustration with other challenges, stating:

"I'm trying to lie on my left side only because my right side, it's true what they say; my heartburn starts immediately like within 60 seconds I have acid coming up my throat on my right side. It's wild."

The choreographer continued her rant in a subsequent update, highlighting the tiredness that overwhelmed her whenever she cleaned, did the dishes, and bent over. By her third Story, Murgatroyd appeared to be in more control as she disclosed her resolve to delegate tasks to others and addressed her nausea and penchant for drinking coffee.
