Peta Murgatroyd Shares Pregnancy Update: 'I'm Not Just Sleeping'

Pregnant Peta Murgatroyd is getting candid about her less than easy week!

The dancer and her husband, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, are expecting a rainbow baby after experiencing a failed IVF procedure and multiple miscarriages. Despite the good news, this second pregnancy is not going easy on the star, and she took to social media to talk about a recent development. 

The Latin pro dancer might be excited to welcome her second child and enjoy the many changes to her body. But some are harder to get used to than others — one of which is the inability to get a good night's rest. 

Although she already shares a boy, Shai, with her husband, the second time does not seem easier, judging by her recent Instagram story videos. In the first clip, Murgatroyd looked visibly tired, wearing a gray outfit with her hair in a messy bun. She started the video immediately, stating:

"I'm not sleeping well at all, and I am highly exhausted." 

She noted that while in bed the night before, the baby kicked from 2 am to 6 am before she decided to give up trying to sleep and get up. The expectant mother expressed her frustration at having to go to the toilet four times, adding:

"I'm trying to lie on my left side only because my right side, it's true what they say, my heartburn starts immediately like within 60 seconds I have acid coming up my throat on my right side. It's wild."

In the next video, captioned, "Haha, I'm truly tired this week…??," she admitted that things were harder this time because she had a child she was taking care of. 

The 36-year-old noted that the little things like cleaning, doing the dishes, bending over, and packing lunches tired her out. She pointed out a whole day had gone by without her sitting down, which was starting to hurt her lower back. 

By the third video, it looked like venting had helped to take some load off her mind as she stated, "So pretty much I think I just need to be aware of how much I'm doing." Murgatroyd mentioned that she would have to delegate things to others before talking about her nausea and drinking coffee.

The entrepreneur noted that she did not have any coffee with her firstborn but was not sure she could survive without it this time. The last post was a boomerang video that showed the star lying down as she wrote, "Back to the couch for me… I'm taking your advice and listening to my bod…??."

Her challenges have not, however, stopped the 36-year-old from deriving pleasure in her changing body. The Blast noted that she has taken to posting videos and pictures of her bump to the delight of her fans.

She shared three snapshots of herself wearing a brown crop top, underwear, and an oversized brown coat on her page, showing off her growing bump. In her caption, she wrote, "Felt cute… won't delete later ??." Her followers gushed over the pictures, and some even tried to predict the sex of her baby. 

Like this follower who wrote, "You look radiant!!! Thinking baby girl this time around!!! ???." Her sister-in-law, Jenna Johnson, gushed, "The GLOW ??," while another noted, "You are so beautiful, wow." A fourth fan stated, "you look so happy with your cute little baby bump :) congrats to you and Maks." 

The couple, who met in 2009 while working on a Broadway production, officially got together almost three years after in 2012. This time they were working on another project, "Dancing With The Stars." A decade later, the lovebirds took to their page in a joint Instagram post to celebrate their hallmark relationship.

The Blast noted that although they kept the post light-hearted, their chemistry was evident. They engaged in a little goofy but cute dance around their living room to SZA's "Low." In the clip, the pair showed off their flexibility as the Ukrainian native spun the reality TV star and her showing bump around.

The caption contained a sweet message which read, "Going on 10 years together ? Nearly 6 years married ?Almost 2 kids ?? +1 Practically a lifetime in Hollywood years! Forever to go ♾️ HAPPY VALENTINES DAY! ❤️?❤️?❤️?❤️?."
