TikToker Elyse Myers Announces Second Pregnancy In 'The Office' Style Video

Elyse Myers Is Having A Baby!

The popular TikToker recently shared a sweet "The Office" style video announcing her big news to her more than 6.2 million followers on TikTok and 2.6 million on Instagram.

Already parents to 2-year-old son August, the couple recently shared a video announcing their big news captioned, "Never before seen footage of “The Local Ad” from The Office: Team Myers Edition 🤍," appropriately set to "Chariots of Fire" by Vangelis.

More than 116,000 happy comments flooded the TikTok video in no time. "Baby announcement and an Oscar nominated short film all in one?? 😁 Congrats," one person wrote. "THIS WAS HANDS DOWN THE BEST PREGNANCY ANNOUNCEMENT EVER!!! Congratulations!! 🥳," wrote another.

One follower was so excited they couldn't decide if the couple was actually expecting or not throughout the film, writing, "I went through "they are/aren't" about 5 times during that!!! 😳😂🥰"

The Instagram post also had tons of positive comments. Jonas left his own comment saying, "WE’RE HAVING ANOTHER BABY."

One follower added, "The more humans the two of you parent, the better our world will be. 🙌🏼♥️

Dunkin Donuts wrote, "The dedication is unmatched! A new little munchkin! Congratulations 😍"

Another person said, "Okay you WIN pregnancy announcements! Congratulations to your wonderful family, Elyse!"

In a follow-up post on Instagram, Elyse shared a still photo from the video and shares her thoughts on being pregnant with her second child. "I actually can't wrap my head around the fact that we are going to be parents to 2 human beings. #surpriseimpregnant," she captioned the photo.

"If you haven’t seen the reel where we announced it today, go back one post and check it out! This picture will make a lot more sense! Hahaha (also if you are an office fan, that will help as well)," the caption concluded.

Elyse shared a little behind the scenes story in the comments on her Instagram photo when she responded to Kevin Jonas comment, "🔥🔥🔥."

"I need everyone to know that Kevin was one of the first people that found out because we were filming his episode of the podcast and I accidentally told him and then my entire podcast team found out at the same time. So Kevin’s been in the loop longer than he wants or expected to 😂," she wrote.

One follower asked if she will post the outtake of that experience, and Elyse replied, "I’m going to ask for my producers to send me this clip so I can post it 😂😂😂."

Elyse is known for her down-to-earth personality, and for talking openly about anxiety, depression, bullying and other topics that for so long seemed to be taboo. In June 2022, Elyse talked to PEOPLE about sharing her mental health struggles with millions of followers.

"It's just something that is very hard to talk about, and it shouldn't be," she said. "It should be as easy as talking about what you had for lunch." And her content reflects that exact attitude, which her followers absolutely adore.

"I love that I can teach people that you can show up as yourself - exactly as yourself - and people can love you for it. That makes me really happy because I spent a lot of my life just masking the things that I was dealing with, thinking that it took me out of the running of being a successful human being," she said. "And learning that in this season I am successful because I am transparent with all of it, has been very cool for me. The fact that I can share that with other people is pretty powerful."

Just a few weeks ago, the TikToker got a taste of just how popular she has become when her podcast made it to a billboard in Times Square. She shared the experience of seeing it for the first time on TikTok in a video captioned, "I didn’t think a photo of me in my pajamas would be in Times Square, I will tell you that. 😂."

She also shared her exciting New York City adventure to see her billboard on Instagram.

Jonas, in pure Elyse fashion, commented, "It’s me, hi. I’m the billboard, it’s me ❤️."

One follower was so happy to see Elyse on the billboard and commented what many others would probably agree with, "Dude you’re the kind of person that deserves to be famous. Thank you for actually sharing the excitement of becoming more popular, it’s really refreshing. You as a person are so refreshing because social media and media in general is full of pompous people who don’t even know who they are, and to be able to watch you (and Jonas) step up into that world being genuine is something I’m so excited to see more of.
