Showtime Reveals Trailer For 'Supervillain: The Making Of Tekashi 6ix9ine' Docuseries

Tekashi 6ix9inehas been very quiet again lately after deciding to diss Lil Durk and his "The Voice" album. He had claimed that Durk continued to use the late King Von's name to boost album sales.
On his main Instagram page and the stories section, he hasn't posted in quite some time either. His last public IG post was back on September 11 when he was promoting his sophomore album, "Tattle Tales." Now, another documentary about him is on the way.
'Supervillain: The Making Of Tekashi 6ix9ine' Docuseries Premieres On February 21st
This docuseries was created by Showtime and is titled "Supervillain: The Making Of Tekashi 6ix9ine." This will premiere on February 21st at 10pm ET. It will be a three-part series. Production is handled by Imagine Documentaries, Rolling Stone, and Lightbox. Giancarlo Esposito will handle the narration of each episode as well.
The director of this project is Karam Gill. The docuseries goes in-depth about 6ix9ine's rise to fame from before all the crazy tattoos and leading all the way up to his success, gang affiliation and incarceration for his 2019 federal racketeering case. The trailer was also officially released on Wednesday.

Docuseries Highlights On How Supervillains Such As 6ix9ine Are Being Allowed To Rise Up

"This series is bigger than 6ix9ine. It’s a cautionary tale about manufactured celebrity and how when our society allows Supervillains to rise, the collateral damage can be massive. In the era of Trump and the Jan. 6 insurrection, understanding and analyzing these stories is extremely important."
6ix9ine's Manager Called Out Hulu And Showtime For Unauthorized Docuseries
Hulu put out their "69: The Saga of Danny Hernandez" documentary back in November. Ahead of this 6ix9ine's manager, Murda Murphy, took to social media to say that this was unauthorized as well as the docuseries by Showtime.
“The Hulu & Showtime @6ix9ine projects!! Are both unauthorized!! Nothing to do with us!! Zero!! The people in these talking are cap! Are not involved with us in anyway!! Don’t support this trash!! When @6ix9ine does something you’ll be the first to know!"
6ix9ine's 'Tattle Tales' Album Was A Top Five-Charting Project
6ix9ine's "Tattle Tales" album was released back on September 4 and it actually did very well. It sold 53,000 units in its first week and that was good enough to debut at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 chart.
