Last fall, the Toronto rapper continued to keep his stance on being innocent. He plead not guilty in his case on behalf of his attorney, Shawn Holley. Lanez was originally charged in October with felony assault.

L.A. County D.A.'s Office gave him one count of assault with a semiautomatic firearm and one count of carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle. They also claim that Lanez inflicted great bodily injury against Megan. If convicted, he faces 22 years and eight months in prison.
