Common May Have Moved On From Ex Tiffany Haddish With This EGOT Winner

Common reportedly has a new lady in his life!

Lonnie Rashid Lynn, best known by his stage name, is a renowned rapper and actor. In addition to his musical talents and onscreen charm, the Chicago native is famous for stealing hearts with his Adonis looks.

After years of keeping a low profile in the relationship department, the "Just Wright" actor has been spotted getting cozy with a high-profile star. With an EGO status under his name, getting intimate with this female celebrity would be one of the best pairings in entertainment history.

Speculations about the "Come Close" artist's love life began in late 2022 as fans suspected the rapper's heart might have been stolen by the multi-hyphenate entertainer Jennifer Hudson. Although the duo has neither confirmed nor denied the rumors, they did little to dispel the allegations.

TMZ revealed that the dynamic duo recently stepped out, looking more than just friends, to enjoy a romantic dinner at Malibu's celebrity hot spot Nobu. For their restaurant affair, the pair played it cool in casual ensembles, with Hudson rocking a sporty theme.

The "Dreamgirls" star looked cozy in a cropped fuchsia puffer jacket, baggy trousers, and pink boots. She accessorized with a scarf around her neck while her sunglasses rested on her forehead. Meanwhile, Common donned a paint-splattered hoodie over khaki trousers and white sneakers.

As they were photographed leaving the restaurant, the "Glory" singer was seen holding a black jacket. Although the pair walked side by side, they avoided any form of PDA; however, their Malibu date marked one of many intimate outings.

After meeting on the set of their upcoming thriller "Breathe," the co-stars were spotted spending more time together, and it did not look like they were not going over their lines. Last November, the Chicago native was seen picking up Hudson at her talk show studio.

Fans were excited to see the duo together, given the time difference between their last public relationships. The "Respect" actress and WWE wrestler David Otunga ended their 10-year engagement in 2017, while Common separated from Tiffany Haddish in 2021.

As mentioned above, if the alleged couple is indeed dating, they would be joining the ever-growing list of entertainment power couples, given their multi-hyphenate status. Last year, Hudson earned EGOT status as an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Award winner, while the rapper is one award shy from this accomplishment.

Whatever the case, fans would certainly hope the pair have a better story together than they did with their exes. The Blast previously reported that Common's ex-girlfriend expressed disappointment in the entertainer following their famous breakup.

During an appearance on "Hollywood Unlocked Uncensored with Jason Lee" — the same show the rapper appeared on to discuss his separation from the actress — Hadish revealed that her former beau was not completely honest about the reasons for their split.

The "Girls Trip" star explained that the 50-year-old might be the type of man who did not like to settle as he moved from one A-lister to the next. "Maybe he's like, you know, like a bee going from flower to flower to flower. I don’t know. I wish him nothing but joy and happiness," the comedian said.

Despite feeling hurt about Common's claims that their relationship had ended because of their busy schedules, the "Nobody's Fool" actress confessed that she missed her ex-boyfriend from time to time. However, she was "cool" with the end of their relationship.

In 2021, The Blast reported that a source confirmed the end of Common and Haddish's one-year relationship. The insider explained that the lovebirds separated because of their careers, noting that the pair could never be in the same city together.

"Both of them are just too busy for a serious relationship," the informant claimed. At the time, neither couple confirmed they had separated, but the news left many fans in tears. The pair began dating in 2020, which Haddish confirmed occurred through the dating site Bumble.

During the pandemic, the matchmaking platform allowed interested parties to go on virtual dates. The Hollywood sensations' online meeting was publicly displayed for fans' entertainment, where the chemistry between the TV personalities was undeniable.

After Bunble set things in motion for the pair, they took matters to the next level. "He got tested for everything, I got tested for everything, and yeah, we’ve been f—ing," Haddish confessed in 2020.
