The Tv host opened up about a sentimental part of her life on her Instagram stories, showing that her son’s birth significantly impacted her. Bertinelli reshared a clip from an Instagram account dedicated to posting inspirational content.
The video began by asking, “Who’s your yellow?” It continued, “Yellow is a certain person that you hold so close to you; they’re the person that kept you going when at times, you felt like giving up. They’ve seen you at your worst, and they may or may not know it, but they are the reason you’re still alive and still going to this day.”
Alongside the repost, the mom of one penned “For the longest time, dark colors were my favorite. Brown, burgundy, black....After Wolfie was born, for some reason, I just fell in love with the color yellow. I couldn’t explain it. This video brought me to tears today because I finally realized why I love yellow.”
The “One Day at a Time” actress ended her message with a proud declaration of love for her son. She wrote, “I love you, @wolfvanhelen and I’m so fucking proud of you.... to the moon and back.”
This emotional post comes after Bertinelli and Wolfgang honored the late Eddie for his 68th posthumous birthday. As The Blast reported, Wolfgang shared a throwback photo of his father and himself.
In the picture, the 31-year-old was holding a guitar with a broad smile while his father lovingly placed his arm around his shoulder. Captioning the post, Wolfgang wrote, “Happy 68th Birthday Pop. Wish I could give you a big hug and tell it to you in person. I love and miss you more than you could ever know.”
Similarly, Bertinelli posted two memorable photos, a black and white of herself with Eddie and another that featured their son. The 62-year-old kept the post’s caption simple with a white heart emoji.
Fans of the family joined them in celebrating the late rockstar and comforted them for their loss. In Wolfgang’s comments, a fan wrote, “Stay strong Wolf. He is always with you and I know he is SOOOO proud of you. He is smiling down on you. Happy Heavenly 68th EVH!”
Bertinelli’s posts also had comments from fans. One fan commented on her bond with the late rocker. The individual wrote, “A man .. A woman.. and their Legacy of Love..,” while another fan penned, “He was your soul mate.”

Besides losing her ex-husband, Bertinelli has gone through some other pains, which she had been open about. Thankfully, the chef has emphasized that she is healing and moving on from those hurtful experiences. However, she recently recalled a painful memory seemingly related to her former marriage to Tom Vitale.
The “Hot in Cleveland” actress disclosed that she had once been ridiculed for wearing specific pants that rubbed together when she walked. According to the Tv personality, she was often told that she was too “lazy to do anything about it so they wouldn’t rub together.”
Such words had caused a hidden bruise on her, causing her to stop wearing the pants. However, she had now moved on, and those hurtful words didn’t matter to her anymore as she was healing. She noted that she had started to wear the pants back, even with them rubbing. She even described the rubbing sounds as “sounds of freedom.”
Bertinelli’s tear-moving post prompted fans to support her in the comments. A follower penned, “The amount of hurtful language and behavior you endured is sending me. Keep talking. Keep walking.” Another fan remarked, “Hidden bruises… so very relatable. Thank you for being vulnerable and sharing; your tribe is strong.”
