Singer Pink has nothing but love for Britney Spears and even feels like a "big sister" to her!

Although fans assumed Pink's 2001 hit song "Don't Let Me Get Me" was throwing shade at the pop star, Pink says it's quite the opposite. Apparently, she has nothing but love for the "Toxic" singer, especially after their 2004 Super Bowl commercial!

In a recent interview with PEOPLE magazine, Pink said that she felt like a "very protective" big sister to the 41-year-old pop star.

"People think I was picking on Britney on 'Don't Let Me Get Me,' but I've always felt like a big sister to her," Pink said. "I'm very protective of her, and she's the sweetest person in the world."

Although they aren't in touch at the moment, Pink said, "I wish her well. I cover her in light all day long." The two got close in 2004 when they teamed up with Beyoncé to sing Queen's "We Will Rock You" for a Pepsi Super Bowl commercial.

"What a weird deal that was. What the h---? Like, 'What are we doing?' " she recalled. "Also, you're Pepsi. You're flying us to Rome to shoot in a fake coliseum down the street from the real Coliseum. Why are we here? We could have gone to Canada. I don't understand. That's Pepsi money. For a while, everything I saw that was really fancy, I was like, 'That's Pepsi money.' It was bizarre."

Pink also had plenty of positive things to say about the "Single Ladies" singer as well. "Beyoncé is the prettiest person you could ever stand in front of. She glows like a goddess. She's so f---ing talented, she's total pro — always has been — and always just the sweetest, gentlest person," Pink gushed. "So for her to be that sweet, and that gentle, and then that f---ing fierce on stage is insane."

In a separate interview with PEOPLE magazine, Pink talked about juggling the responsibilities of being a mother and a rock star. The “Just Give Me A Reason” singer shares an 11-year-old daughter, Willow, and a six-year-old son, Jameson, with husband Carey Hart, 47.

The 43-year-old singer is ready to get back on tour this summer with the Pink Summer Carnival stadium tour, followed by the Trustfall arena tour in the fall to promote her ninth studio album. Although it’s difficult balancing a family and a career, Pink still finds a way to make it work.

"I did not know I was going to have a family. I didn't picture that for myself because I was terrified I would be a terrible mother," she admitted. "But, oh my God, being a mom is the most incredible thing I've ever done. It's shocking how responsible I've become."

"I was in charge of snacks for last week's basketball game; I'm chaperoning Willow's dance next Friday. . . . Who am I?" she joked, adding, "But I love it."

Actress and longtime friend Selma Blair called Pink a “powerhouse in everything she does,” both in her career and with her family. "Pink would organize these annual campouts at her house with all the friends and kids. She knows the love and strength in community. She's the ultimate mama and rock star,” Blair said.

“She made time; created it for all of us to have that weekend to just dance and eat and play. One night I stayed up in my tent listening to Matthew McConaughey playing beer pong, my kid asleep next to me. Everyone loves showing up for Pink!" Blair recalled. "Between touring, there were birthday parties for the kids and moon circles with all the lovely women in her life. The most endearing group."

"Pink is the most courageous woman and the most thoughtful and present friend,"  she added. "We are all so lucky to be alive in the reign of Pink. Down to earth doesn't begin to capture the personal side of this rockstar. Truly a miracle human being."

Although Pink admits she wants to "be the best I can be at everything," she recognizes that she needs to find a balance between her personal and professional life. "I love being a mom, I love music, and I'm dumb lucky I get to do all of these things," she said. "I count my blessings every single day."
