Britney Spears Claims Her Hair Is Longer AFTER She Cut It

Singer Britney Spears was back on Instagram on Monday night with a shocking claim.

The 41-year-old pop star claims she cut her own hair before she and her husband, Sam Asghari, went out to dinner at Nobu on Sunday night after just eating there on Friday.

Strangely, the "Hold Me Closer" singer said that her hair was actually longer after she cut it!

On Monday night, Britney took to Instagram to share a picture of a woman in a pink dress reading a letter. Her face, however, is cropped out of the shot.

In the caption, Britney wrote, "Okay I like things that are a little bit of a mystery ??‍♀️ !!! Well last night before I went out again to Nobu for the second time … ok I was hungry ?? !!! I cut my hair !!!"

Britney said she cut off "A lot … like maybe 2 and a half or three inches … my whole head of hair was curled not straight at all ??‍♀️ !!! My friend sent me a pic of me going inside and my hair is longer than it was before I cut it !!! And it’s straight … uhhhhhh what the heck ?? ???"

Unfortunately, Britney did not share a photo of her hair to let followers judge for themselves. Over the summer, the "Toxic" singer claimed she cut her hair while she was in Mexico, but fans did not seem to notice a difference.

Britney seems to be a fan of using hair extensions, so it's possible that fans might not notice any difference this time either.

Less than an hour later, the "Oops!...I Did It Again" singer was back on Instagram sharing three photos of her posing with a few friends at a giant white tree.

In this caption, Britney wrote, "Another mystery ? … me and friends went to visit my favorite tree last night ? !!! I take a pic with it every year ??‍♀️ !!! Well I stood in the exact same place as last year … why the h*ll was the tree so d*mn big last year ? ??? Uhhhhh ? !!!"

It looks like the trio was keeping warm in oversized brown coats. Britney and one of her friends twinned in pink blouses and dark slacks, while the man that posed on Britney’s left is wearing a green tee shirt and jeans.

However, it does not look like Britney's hair is any shorter in these photos. She also hid her eyes behind large sunglasses, even though it looks like the photo was taken at night.

The "Stronger" singer also shared a photo that she took at the tree last year. In this photo, Britney is standing by herself, wearing a striped white long-sleeve shirt and black pants.

Britney first shared the photo on Instagram on January 18, 2022. In the caption, she wrote, “Yes that’s me … the idiot in a tree at 9:00 at night ? !!!! I go to visit this tree every year with my kids but now they are too cool for me ???‍♀️? !!!! Check the roots on this baby … I like trees ? !!!!”

Fans seemed to love her post. “Love it !!!! Thanks for being close to nature,” one fan commented. “Where is this tree? It’s amazing!!” another follower shared. “I love trees too! I think the tree recognizes you every year and is happy that you come back to visit,” a third fan chimed in.

Less than an hour after Britney shared the photos of her posing with her friends in her favorite tree, she shared an image of a crown with her Instagram followers.

In the caption, Britney wrote, "If your crown falls off ACCIDENTALLY ... remind yourself who the f*ck you are and simply put it back on !!!!!! GOD BLESS AMERICA!!"

On Saturday afternoon, the "Slumber Party" singer took to Instagram to share a video of the outfit that she wore to Nobu on Friday night. For that trip, she wore a black bra and a long black skirt underneath a plaid jacket. She accessorized her look with black boots and a wide-brimmed red hat.

In the caption, Britney wrote, "Last night before dinner at Nobu … Why is that place so good and how come I always sit by the fire ? !!! Either way, best night ever !!! My hubby hates this video, he thinks this black outfit is bad … I’m confused ??‍♀️??‍♀️… Oh well ..."

Britney then revealed that she is starting to create her own outfits. "I made the diamond dress and two more last night ? … 170 bucks for the front diamond panel I found somewhere then I added a slip …" she wrote. "okay it’s not Versace but I made it myself ????‍♀️?‍♀️?‍♀️ …"

"I also added a design at the bottom of bigger stones, I pieced it together then a lady helped me sew ? it … I was bored but creating is so cool !!!" she added. She hasn't posted a video of her fashion creation yet, but her fans would no doubt love to see it!
