The formerReal Housewives of Potomac star is sick of real life and has been begging Bravofor her job back on the hit show.
Katie Rost Ain’t Too Proud
The former model and hopeful reality star shared with her Twitter followers that she ain’t too proud to beg for, in this case, her job back on Bravo. She wrote on the bird app, “I’ve asked Andy Cohen to bring me back, apologized, gone to shul and said sorry,” she admitted.
“All that stuff. Radio silence. I have a lot going on that a lot of people can relate to and a-lot HAS changed. I’m reliable. If they are still casting. Hire me. I’m here. And I’m real. #RHOP for real,” she campaigned further.
The former reality star's Tweet received mixed reviews some people berated her for being so desperate. “You’ve done so well with your sobriety. Why in the world would you want to be on a show about combat and conflict? I think you and your sobriety are better off without it,” wondered one follower.
“Probably won't be happening after this either. Seems a lil eager & desperate,” pointed out another follower.
“Katie we love you and loved you on the show. However, this type of shows are not good at all for you during your recovery. We want you well and strong. Stay away from this toxicity that can be detrimental. Take care of Katie first!!! #rhop.”
Katie Rost Clapped Back
When Katie got wind of the hate, she posted a follow-up message. “If you don’t speak up. You don’t get. You may not understand someone’s every move. But you cannot disrespect a woman who has that flex. Under my wig. Is a lot of bravery.”
Katie’s time on the show came to an end officially after she lamented online about Andy not inviting her to the season 4 reunion. Keep in mind, at the time, Katie was already a “Friend of” and not a full-time cast member. It’s not customary for a “Friend of” to appear on the reunion unless some real mess went down.
From what we recall, having watched the season and subsequent marathoning of the episodes on Bravo, Katie showed up unprepared to work, left trips randomly, wasn’t coherent most of the time, and back-peddled on her opinions, especially those of Ashley Darby and her husband, Michael Darby.
She wrote that “Everyone knows I should be on that couch. You want to exploit my image and life and not give me my time to shine?”
Katie Rost Takes The Hate Back
Katie later apologized for acting up on Daddy Cohen and whomever else she offended at the time. She claims her statements “weren’t cool in the past.” She also made her first plea for her job back.
“I do want a job. And I swear I will totally behave. I’m also sorry for my temper tantrums. I feel no thirst. I just want to work.”
This plea comes as no surprise seeing as Katie has admitted to having to work a 9 to 5 now at a local grocery store, Bethesda Co-op after successfully completing rehab.
“Jesus Christ, I started working, like a real job. I just got off of an 8 hour shift working minimum wage,” she shared on Twitter at the beginning of the month.
“I feel like a real person instead of a reality tv person; I made $14 an hour, … Keepin it real,” she writes.
It looks like ‘keepin’ it real’ got too real for Katie. You don’t go from dating Russell Simmons to working in a co-op with acceptance and ease.
