A seven hour flight delay might upset most people, but NBA star Damian Lillard knew just how to pass the time with his team. He turned the grounded flight into the backdrop of an impromptu music video.

Lillard shared the music video on his Instagram page, captioning it, "When you stuck on the plane for 7 hours and the flight get canceled πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™‚οΈ … guess we try again TOMORROW πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ #DameDolla #Tomorrow."

Lillard and his team, the Portland Trail Blazers, were trying to get to Sacramento for their Thursday night game against the Kings, but heavy snowfall caused the flight to be delayed for seven hours, and eventually cancelled. So, Lillard decided instead of sitting there just waiting, he would make good use of his time and entertain the rest of the team with an original rap.

Lillard's fans took to the comments of his Instagram post to talk about the music video and Lillard's talent. Matisse Thybulle, who was recently traded to the Trail Blazers and mentioned in the rap commented, "Very impressive."

"⌚️⌚️⌚️⌚️ HE DON’T MISS," one follower wrote. Another added, "Dame really make it look easy. Goodness πŸ”₯." There was also a sea of flame emojis that filled the comment section, as well as other comments about how talented Lillard is.

Damian Lillard As Dame D.O.L.L.A. Has Released Many Albums Over The Years

Lillard isn't only talented on the court. He's also got a thriving rap career as Dame D.O.L.L.A. He has released a number of albums since 2016 when his first release, "The Letter O" dropped. He followed that up with "Confirmed" the next year. In 2019, "Big D.O.L.L.A." came out, and then in 2021, "Different On Levels The Lord Allowed."

In October, Lillard shared his new music in an Instagram post captioned, "πŸ”Š Just dropped my new track β€œAll Hail The King” on all platforms."

Many of the NBA star's fans are impressed with his success on and off the court. "Dame be dropping a new track and a 40 piece like its nothing πŸ”₯πŸ”₯⌚️⌚️," one Instagram follower wrote in the comments.

Another person added, "Man I really like this song my guy. Been on repeat for last day. Good song from my favorite player. Respect πŸ™πŸΏ."

NBA All-Star Weekend Excitement And New Shoes Coming Soon!

Lillard's life seems non-stop to people watching on social media. Not only did he play in last week's NBA All-Star Game, but he also won the 3-point contest during All-Star Weekend.

"This was a goal of mine because as a shooter, any time you come into a competition like this, you want to win it," Lillard said, according to USA Today. "I had done it two times before this, and I feel like I just didn't take it serious enough. You know, I wanted to just shoot my way to a win, and I wasn't shooting the ball really disciplined. I was lazy."

And to make his week a little more exciting, he announced two days ago that new shoes are coming out soon.
